PBA insider
Heard TNT bought Ray Parks for P35 Million. Couple that with their other recent sales / "trades" of Erram, Maliksi & Mike D.G., that's enough to fund more than 1 season for them.

Talk about making serious money in the PBA and continually destroying league parity in the process.

well snow posted how much smc paid northport for stanley pringle. around 50m. MVP paid 25 million for erram..

Isaac Go is a good player dont get me wrong but there are several reasons why he only plays spot minutes for Ateneo. He is a true stretch big which is his primary strength but he has alot of cons to his game. He has poor lateral movement, his motor is questionable, he is a poor rim protector and he is a poor rebounder for his position. Of course he has shown that he can improve and is willing to learn but right now he is a project player at most in the PBA.

Agree. I don't why everyone is so high on him. For all we know, he'll just be a Norbert Torres 2.0.

It helps when you come from a winning program and get rave review from arguably the best coach in the country now in tab.

Issac is a proven clutch player, with High IQ that is his main difference with Norbert who is the same player mold

3 inch height difference between Go and Torres. World of difference.

Go might be having an off year, but he's proven capable to hit the 3-ball. Gonna be a great counter to Junmar and Greg-types, by drawing them out, something which they aren't too keen on doing.

How tall is he now?

Is it just me or maybe MVP/TNT/BWE just think that they are actually doing BRP a favor. Parks will have no shot at winning ROY honors if he still stays at BWE. He neeeds to have at least 4 Playoff games on top of what he already played for BWE due to his missed games while he was still at Alab. BWE has no chance to advance this Gov's Cup but TNT will.

Even in NBA eh franchise players are also been traded.. Anthony Davis for example!! For me it's how commissioner marcial will see the trade.. for me it's fair if trollano, semerad plus 2 1st rounder.. 100x better than cstand for trash like jr Reyes, Ronald tubid, a 1st rounder and still unknown McCarthy..

It took Anthony Davis 7 years to leave NOP, it took less than 7 months for BRP to leave blackwater, big difference there. You have franchise players in small market teams(Jokic, Giannis, Lillard), but here small market teams trade thier star players for the right amount, so you really can't compare it.

Lastly 2 first round picks will likely result in Mac tallo, napoles, David Semerad players. The 10th pick of the draft is not of much quality most of the time and if it is, that player will just go back to the mvp group once needeed

For all we know, this bobby parks deal might be vetoed even if they'll only put anthony semerad together with trollano plus the 2 late FR picks. Pogoy might be the dealbreaker on this one.

Basketball IQ is the difference...

hmm if his game is based on 3 point shooting and bball IQ, should'nt he be playing guard instead? I mean with his height he should at least be able to function properly in the paint, otherwise he'd be played out of position every time.. Given his circumstances he needs to land in a team that will maximize his strengths and develop his weaknesses.. so not SMB, which demands finished products.. so maybe Dickel's TNT.

Wishful thinking here...but maybe he could be a poor man’s Jokic. hehe

Why not pogoy plus future 2 first round picks.. he's the 2nd/3rd best player form tnt.. and he's one of the best two way players in the PBA right now.. that is a best trade as of now for tnt.. trollano can do what pogoy does in tnt..

I like that more. I'll retain Trollano and anthony semerad over Pogoy to pair with parks. Trollano and semerad are solid 2 way players literal na pangbantay on guys like wells, manny harris and brownlee.

Plus if its Pogoy, it wont be that controversial by Pogoy having a respectable value in the PBA. Roy, gilas player, 2 way player. That would benefit TNT more. Also, Blackwater is a farm team of TNT who knows Pogoy would be back in their graces or their sister teams (meralco or nlex) in due time.

Minimum 6-8,could even be 6-9...

I thought Isaac is only 6'7 (6'8 tops with shoes maybe). Norbert is legit 6'6. Too bad Torres totally regressed after he turned pro. Too passive on the offensive end and poor laterals. Most of the time he is reluctant to fire the three ball(where he is decent imho). Hoping that Isaac will be a tougher and meaner version of Torres. The clutch genes and basketball IQ is there. Hopefully he gets drafted by a team/coach that can utilize and develop his raw skills to the hilt. Mark Dickel? Yeng maybe?
