maybe i misunderstood the figures but seems doing ok?

well in 2017.

You conveniently forgot this....

"Excluding the one time gains – resulting in the disposal of investment in subsidiaries – of P4.2 billion, income for 2018 amounted to P700 million, down from P1.5 billion a year ago."

awww.. way to go man. you just wanna get it out dont ya?

Which one? It's an analogy that's the same. You don't flaunt data from one's website, that's like asking Uson, a government lackey and appointee, if the economy is doing well....

Don't take it personally...it's not you, it's the source....but please don't blame me if you felt alluded to it...that's not my problem.

sorry if i misunderstood. if they have net income of 4.9 billion with disposal of investment of 4.2 billion. how is it losing? im not a businessman.

not sure if this is relevant enough for your but i copped up this:

i dont take anything personally. i dont know uson. i know theres a lot of issues about her in the news before which i did read further. im just surprised that you just have to let it out when she is not even in the context of the conversation about udenna's performance. but anways. i think i'll just get it over with and stop since this is getting OT.

Like I said, you don't need to react if you don't feel alluded to....

It's an analogy, no different when you compare Marcos to Alibaba and the 40 thieves or Duterte to a berdugo or hangman...or Alibaba as well...

And like I said, it's not you, it's what you posted...

its a sad reality that philippine basketball, from high school to pros are controlled by "cronies" ,specifically the two power blocs..oh well, too OT

as far as i know, his investments so far have been turning out good profits specially the logistics business. which made his holdings company get a good valuation and thus he can get good loans from creditors for further investments in other areas as well.

In laymans term, Uy is stretching himself thin... While his primary business ventures might be earning, like in his Logistics and maybe Phoenix, but by buying new companies his income might not able to compensate for the loans... Remember may inyerrst mga yan... Parang kung sa tao, namili ka ng paninda mo through Credit card, you pay one month later, good thing if you can payoff all your purchases, if not you incur service charges and penalties.. Yung tubo mo kulang pa sa interest... Big companies dont acquire large loans which is more and beyond its equity. Parang nagloan ka ng Car na price is 2M pero pera mo sa banko is 500,000 at magrely ka sa sweldo or kita ng negosyo for monthly amortization but what if bigla ka nagkasakit or bumaba ang sales...

well he is on a expansion mode. so loans are left and right and that will eat your balance sheets. our country's economy is expanding. his company is not immune to bad business units as well. SMC and FP also went the same headache. im not sure if any of udenna's subsidiary has filed for bankruptcy before tho.

Snow Badua has his Trade Alert already in FB: Ray Parks to TNT for JorDon Trollano, one Of the Semerad Twins and 2 Future Draft Picks...

is BW disbanding? or cost cutting measures again?

Last year of their probationary period of 5 years in the PBA, alongside KIA (Columbian) and NLEX. NLEX isn't a problem, they've done well somehow and have proven they can compete (their 7-1 record this conference as a testament). The two, well, we'd most likely see them given a graceful exit by leaving on their own terms without mention of their franchises not being made on permanent status.

Funny how all these lopsided trades and obvious farm teams/division is just normal for all PBA fans. “Welp he’s getting harvested”

Just wanted to share what PBA-Memes posted. The PBA has 3 conferences.
SMC
Ginebra
San Miguel
Magnolia

MVP
Meralco
Talk n Text
NLEX

Independent
Rain or Shine
Alaska
Phoenix

Farm
Columbian
Northport
Blackwater

And SMC wins because they have two farm teams to MVPs one. Unless of course NLEX and Meralco are also TNT farm teams then oh well.

Its not a big lost for Black water because next year, Kobe Paras might join the draft and he is for sure number one pick. Next years draft will have three of the most talented scorer; Paras, Munzon, and Malonzo and it might even have Baltazar.

But again, BW will always trade there best players.
