They basically gave him away for free. WTF? Either Alaska is stupid or they really hated Abueva.

I'm surprised none of the MVP teams got him.

they just want to get rid of him..

no tradeable assets for MVP group..

I thought Phoenix was going to get a couple of new bloods from the draft. PHX has 2 first round picks. The other coming from the Jeff Chan trade. So which one did they trade for Calvin?

Betting he won't stay there long. A team from one of the Evil Empires is gonna get him.

baka dibs lang ng ginebra bago makuha ng mvp group while they're in the finals :)

i don't mine if SMC gets abueva anymore with 6 games suspension on fiba he might not coming back in gilas uniform, after 2019 our focus is to develop younger guys.

but i hope MVP teams gets him, im tired seeing SMC strong teams getting stronger.

Now Im getting worried Keith Agovida will be traded again for the Dabis.

Agovida plus 1 case of san mig apple for Dabis.

Is he the same old beast though? The guy that played for GILAS is still obviously dealing with some issues. Alaska had to sell low to get rid of him. Alaska who had been very vocal in the past regarding lopsided trades and under the table deals basically gave him away for free.

maybe Fred Uytengsu had enough of Calvin's antics at shenanigans..

Probably Phoenix own puck which coupd be a top 3 to 4 pick

That pick is for 2019. That means Abueva still gets to play one full season for Phoenix in 2018 - giving the Fuel Masters the opportunity to improve its season finish and maybe land in the Top 6. That would equate to a 6th pick overall, if ever...

Balkman,Santos and him on the same team..goodluck Kots Leo Lol

One thing I observed with SMB (as compared with Petron) is their chemistry. Lots of superstar but kuts leo and his staff still manage/tame them to become a championship caliber team.
