I'm prepared for the eventuality of CS going to SMC. He's ineligible anyway. Maybe SMB is preparing to trade Junemar. Ginebra has already found a way to beat them.

If that happens and they take away CS so be it. It's up to christian if he will force a gilas clause to his contract and if he is really loves to play for gilas he will no matter what. I'm not questioning CS desire to play for gilas but we don't want another marcio lassiter case where gilas was just used as a stepping stone.

Every team in the PBA must stand up against this BS trade for it to be rescinded or changed. Problem is TNT also pulls BS trades and Blackwater is a sometimes farm team. That leaves just ALA, GLB, PHX and ROS as the teams able to stand up. Not to mention a trapo/oligarch like Mikee Romero is unlikely to stand up to the SMC conglomorate so lets all welcome CS or Keif to SMB hahaha

Yes they can. The thing is, it's Narvasa's job to veto any trade deal made. But I would grant that the Board has enough power to influence Narvasa to make a just stand on this. And Narvasa would only act based on how the Board decides.
The question is, will the Board make such a move? There are 12 teams - 3 of which are already with the SMC camp. Assuming SMB and KIA don't get a vote, they have two votes already tucked in. They only need 6. The other party may get 4 votes - 3 from the MVP camp and Alaska. It would be interesting then to find out who GBP, PHX, BWE and ROS will vote for...
