i honestly think its a good trade. gbp needs a veteran presence. and its not as if a big loss. castro with pringle is awesome.. but then again, romeo will reunite with RR in TNT. so i don't think it would happen though.lols.

Romeo isn't in good condishaan already to continue to Global Port with potato chip guy and that cat of cold around, his casino ventures would continue therefore he must be deleted..

Is it just me for i think this trade benefitted mahindra more? NLex has a platoon of guards and i think both guys Khobuntin and Camson will flourish in Coach Gavina's and Coach Pacquiao's system

guiao will treat mallari as his gabe norwood (not in terms of defending) playmaking skills..
 
Weird, I thought Camson and Khobuntin are the kind of players that Guiao likes.
 
Looks like urbiztondo just treat abl as a d league stopover, goes to show you how oba can benefit of having a "team" in the abl..

I'm guessing Yeng tried hard enough to maximize their performance but they just won't deliver. They may have the swagger, the physicality, and the willingness to do hard labor, but in the end, minus the requisite basketball IQ that Yeng looks for in a player, they may have been lost causes...
 
Alaska retiring eric menk jersey. Definitely menk is the best local power forward the pba produced.

Jonas guinto monfort anthony gabo kevin alas lastimosa there are so many guys who are below performing than these two but these guys we all agree have the lowest trade value ( as the ghese fuys i mentioned can still be traded to.sister teams or be packaged to a blue chip player) as you can easily find blue collar players and turn them to gold..
 
So does this mean grey and guinto won't be part of the gilas pool now? Because of the one poayer and one cadet per team rule?

A shame if that is the case.
 
Nlex finally making moves, getting coach yeng's old reliables in fonacier and quinahan, and a versatile player in mallari, with fonacier moving to nlex, pogoy is now tnt's main 3 and d wing, the "hindi kinaya ng dibdib ni garvo" moment may have sealed that lanete didn't get yeng's trust

And meralco is hoarding shooters for a potential playoff run surprised didnt see uyloan moved as he had the size compared to monfort and tiongson..

Yes yeng said that during a huddle, that was nlex vs tnt, nlex blew a 29 pts lead, lanete has 2 miscues in the final minute.
1. He didn't helped out on defense which lead to castro kick out to a rdo 3
2. He failed to catch a kick out from alas which resulted to out of bounds, tnt ball

When yeng said that, lanete just covered his face and was in tears, yeng just crushed the kid's confidence with those words IMO, he was never brought back in the game and nlex lost in overtime

Tgats what you get when you babied by mvp yeam all his career, his older bro didnt get that luxury and earn his way to be in the pba..

lol...tell that to amer, marcelo, and other players that developed with mvp teams in the amateurs and are thriving in d pba...
