That's a Wow! For San Miguel! a good tail wind for MGR that could possibly rev up his basketball from the doldrums... he will find a home with San Miguel which add more height to an already tall back court of Ross, Cabagnot, Lassiter rotation.

Screams of a National team like strength... Just send team San Miguel to SEABA ;)

competent but lacks d, and who uses his injured shoulder to defend opposing guards, he will be an sg in tnt imo

Or again one good guard for MVP group in their stable..

I see a Garvo-RR swap if things get worse for Nlex..
 
Wow a straight up MVP-SMC trade when the last time this happen? good trade for both teams TNT needs a good back up for castro and smb got another defensive player. nakakahinayang lang si rosser he was suppose to be the next norwood but with his lack of shooting ang ugly form di talaga bagay laro niya sa system ng TNT.
 
TNT finally gets a reliable point guard outside of Castro. Ganuelas has been a disappointment for TNT.

This is one of those very good and fair trades we have rarely seen.

Looking forward to more playing time for Huruela.
 
It only means coach Nash has teeth to acquire players fit for his system. As for Ganuelas, he is not an offensive machine as some may have imagined.

With Ganuelas on board at SMB, guys playing at the 3/4 spot like Agovida, Semerad and Reyes may lose their minutes or worse get traded.
 
I think TNT management is making a statement to their players. Matt, Mo and Troy are projected to be the future of this franchise. With Matt being traded, Mo should be more focused to prevent the same thing happening to him. Troy is okay, at least for now.

It means goodbye gilas stint for ganuelas now haha. Aside from his athleticism and his occasional good defence, he never improves as a player and develops his jump shot so it's better to get a legit pg with playmaking skills that can give a breather to castro.

And RR wanted the trade ever since last conference, the inability of Coach Leo to use beyond his killer starting 5 make RR lose his passion to play(he was very laid back whenever his number was called), and he was professional enough to have a solid performance(3rd quarter or maybe the tongue lashing from smb management did help) in Game 6 if not SMB wouldn't defeat tnt

That SMB team would really trade a rotten tomato no matter how good he would've been..

Hope it wont be a third time for TNT/MVP group. First they let of Japhet Aguilar then Meralco released Chris Ross. Look at them now , All Star caliber and Gilas material players. I wont be surprise if Rosser would be the same. ROSSER is screaming potential, at the same stage of their career, he is better than Ross, what with his length and athleticism.

Wonder how Leo Austria will utilize MGR knowing he only has a slim rotation. Agovida's minutes i guess will lessen
