my guess is Marcio for Baclao and Guevarra - - come on guys, it's like Baclao for Marcio.. Guevarra though I know him personally is useless in the PBA.. Marcio compliments the game of Gary David. David is the scorer while Marcio is the designated stopper. IDK but this trade is not good for the league.

I remember sir Nardy posted here a question before(after Ginebra gaev James Martinez to Powerade for nothing): it goes something like this, who will be the cost of James Martinez? :) and now it's Marcio!

kramer,lassiter,anthony,2nd rd. pick for guevarra,j-wash,yeo,baclao plus some cash could be nicer :D ,since they will be sister team soon alaska could be the middleman alaska wud trade sonny thoss, baguio in exchange for petron's kramer, anthony and rabah

my dream trade :D

this is what i really hate about philippine basketball! you cannot see a team grow.... All Powerade needs is a stretch 4 or a pick and pop bigman and their set

im just so sad that marcio will leave powerade

based on the reports is that its Guevarra + Baclao for Marcio.

if its approved by the commissioner, then i guess petron did regret having those three from Air 21 in that blockbuster trade. lolz.

i have to hold my judgment since there's no final word on it. But rumors are: Baclao+Guevarra+Yeo for Lassiter. San Miguel, este, Petron becomes wayyy thinner and are putting too many eggs in the basket for the promise of Lassiter (who i don't know how will fit in at the SG-SF spots with Lutz/Santos already locked there...)

For Powerade, lots of their fans (and pseudofans a.k.a. bandwagoners) will hate it but how do you NOT like your depth after that trade?

Apparently, it's already APPROVED by BOTH SIDES, submitted already to the PBA office and just waiting for Salud's signature.

simple, santos will play pf or one between lutz and lassiter will play as the sixth man.

that is lopsided. while rey and noy are first-round picks they have been benchwarmers the past couple of conferences. a 3rd player or at least a 2nd rd pick must be added.

yeah, i think so too. lutz and lassiter would be great for SF spot or SG spot.

wow. SMB is really gaining the fruits from the gilas program.

its SMB were talking here. they are always lopsided when it comes to trade. :D

the only time i know that the trade with them was not lopsided is when they traded they're 1st round pick for Jaywash from TNT. TNT got Jayson Castro in that trade during the draft.

Whatever happens i hope Ato won't have to juggle a 10-12 man rotation again (With Washington/Al Hussaini), Lassiter is nice but i hope we don't give too much depth (Baclao i thought was a key player in the future).

thought so too. baclao could've been the taller and bigger version of Freddie Abuda. thats what i was expecting.

Only a stupid comish would approve this trade...too bad stupid is an understatement when talking about salud.

I'm a big fan of san miguel since 1995, i like marcio lassiter too but i dont like this trade....this trade is 1 sided well most of the trades in the pba is 1 sided. this kind of trade kills the league. its not balance anymore, not exciting as before. pba is battle of mvp and smc i will not be surprize if alaska will leave the league soon. im sad tsk:mad:

They say he already did.

its weekend. i have yet to read that salud has approved it already. nothing official yet. i'll reiterate ur take on salud as stupid if and when it becomes official that lassiter was traded for 2 benchwarmers with decent to good potentials (but benchwarmers nonetheless).

Salud can only do so much. It's not his stupidity, it's Powerade's. You can call it unfair or lopsided but you have to realize Powerade AGREED to this one as well.

If this pushes thru, it's the incompetence of Powerade you have to blame. That, and of course, their greed as it might involve "cash considerations" which is still very legal in this kind of exchanges.

As a Petron fan, i am preparing for the barrage of: "daya", "unfair", "one-sided"-- but hey Noli is doing it to strengthen the team (though it's not a perfect deal) and that's his job. Don't blame Petron for being too rich ;)

I guess sir noli/smc are just collecting the pieces they needed for the formation of smc gilas 3 getting ready for 2015 fiba asia in case mvp steps down. :)

Nah, it still is the final call of the comish...that's why trades pass thru the comish office for evaluation. I don't blame smc at all...powerade is somehow at fault but being the authority figure of the league salud should know what deals to nix and those that can push thru...and this definitely has to be vetoed.
