i think salva will go 11th and teng will go 12th.
Global is loaded with swingmen already.
That makes romeo and salva teammates.
Surprised to see Jerick Teng picked only in the 2nd round. I expected Teng to be picked either 4th, 5th or 6th.
how tall is taha
Mark Isip & Magi Sison for the 5th pick (w/c turned out to be Terrence Romeo)?
Wow! Define "fair deal"?
Isip is not a bad player, but at 33 years old, his PBA days are numbered. In 1 or 2 years palaos na yan. Remember, he hardly played for Petron since joining the team late in the season. As for Magi Sison, I haven't even seen him play in the PBA since he had languished on the very edge of Petron's bench last season.
The Rico Maierhofer and Willie Wilson trade for Barako's 4th pick, w/c turned out to be James Forrester, is for me a good deal for Barako. Finally Barako struck a fair deal. Maierhofer is about 28 & has not yet reached his potential playing behind Kerby Raymundo at Ginebra. At Barako Bull, Maierhofer will get the playing time he needs to flourish, specially as Danny Seigle is frequently injured & is getting old.
But I think Barako trading its 6th pick (w/c turned out to be RR Garcia) for Denok Miranda is again another imprudent move. Why trade a 23-year old promising point guard for a 31-year old veteran point guard who has hardly proven anything in his 7-year PBA career? I mean, Denok Miranda(in my opinion) is not among the top 8 best point guards in the PBA right now. I'll rate Urbiztondo, Mike Cortez & even Alex Mallari ahead of him.
Barako just got better.. They got Miller now...
And Global Port would compete again with Air 21 hahaha
@barangayginebra: Barangay ginebra trades their 24th pick along with 2016 and 2017 second round pick for 2014 first round pick of global port.
How old is Miller now? 36?
How much impact did he make with Global Port last season? I would rather take a 26-year old guard with less talent rather than a former MVP who is nearing the end of his basketball career. In one to 2 years time, no team will seriously consider him. He will be like a Tracy McGrady or an Allen Iverson.

This Global Port team reminds me so much of the New York Knicks during the Isiah Thomas era. Too many talented players, but only 1 ball to share, no one is known to be a good defensive player.
Don't know why so many people are surprised by this pick. He's a 6'1 SF with limited athleticism and latent raw talent. He's as polished as he's going to be. In my opinion, being drafted 12th is just right for him. And what's more, he got drafted by the RIGHT team and the RIGHT coach for him. He will LOVE playing for Yeng Guiao and he will perform well in their team.

silent, devious move. If Sy group doesn't join PBA, Hello Ray Parks.
