Pba draft 2024

NGL, the incoming 2 conference format of PBA is exciting. An all-filipino conference and probably a import-laden conference with 2 imports allowed.

Tbh I like this more than Yeng complaining. The players deserve to be paid well, even at the sake of parity.
 
Should be conference with 1 import and conference with 2 imports for EASL.

Yup, and also at last the parity is on the advantage of Gilas. Having these good players going to the SMC means Coach Tim having no problem getting them. I just hope by 2027, the SMC will ask for an exemption for KB if the Ginebra will draft him and also Holt.

I wonder how the mpic camp will respond, their biggest acquisition so far is nambatac, good luck with that

Snow said the Converge are trying to get Mikey Williams, I guess the Tnt will ask for maybe Winston in exchange for Mikey's rights.

the same converge that offered him 7 figures to play in a pocket tourney in dubai yet he still said no.

Well he doesn't have a choice right now. It has been a year since the offer from Tnt also but he is still not playing. I think there is no offer for him abroad. Perhaps he thought he plays like a world import but it looks like he is wrong.

They can probably get Arana if they tried, Arana's role will be dropped once they got their man (balti) not sure how they can fit together if theyre making balti a post player

Winston plus season 50 1st round pick of Converge is fair enough... Mikey is good but he hasn't played a competitive basketball for a year... Fair enough...

I read somewhere that Mikey's camp clarified to Homer Sayson that they needed a clearance of some sort from TNT to be allowed to play in that Dubai tournament but obviously TNT did not clear him for that SGA stint. I think this was communicated later on to Jacob Lao hence the interest of acquiring Willliams, no real bad blood between SGA and Williams.

Winston is fair enough as he is younger and less expensive than Mikey. It's better than nothing too

Anything than nothing is better.. but I guess TNT try to add players/assets outside Winston just to have new players for their rebuilding plans

Isaac Go is smart as well. Tiu and Go had a great bb Iq to boot Ben Philips is like average there
