Pba draft 2024

  • Thread starter Thread starter r1ck2
  • Start date Start date
They need a PG more than a wing with Holt in tow. Skati played bad last conference so it won't hurt if they got RJ.

So ildefonso and lastimosa drops to the 3rd rd/ goes undrafted?

what do you expect from a guy who can't even distinguish Dave from Shaun haha, imagine putting Shaun who is entering his Jr. year with Ros in the mock draft

Read on X CStan might leave and Pringle might retire. Worst trade ever if this happens?

RJ Abarrientos at no. 3 I guess…unless Blackwater suddenly pass up on Barefield

Good for Phoenix since they need a PG badly.

But Malonzo, Gray, Holt and Kai doesn't really make any sense with an aging Tenorio and inconsistent Skati.

If Brownlee will be available to play for both import laden conference then the direction might really be for Abarrientos. Balunggay can be redundant to the position especially once Malonzo and Gray returns. Scottie is also nursing a back injury so it may factor in the decision.

RJ going to Tim Cone’s team might also be a factor for a possible future Gilas stint as well.

You can't always pick a player who's 6'7 plays SF and young AF. There is always a good PG for every draft year but a guy like KB is not. I hope Ginebra picks KB.

Its going to be Ballungay. Cone doesnt always need a good playmaker. Barroca with SMC was more of a defender and scorer rather than a facilitator. What he cant do without was a playmaking big. That’s why he had DeVance with him from Alaska, SMC to GSM. He tried ADLC but he had health problems. Malonzo inherited the position but seems to have a lot of health problems now. Ballungay would be a good candidate for a do it all forward. Cone is not impatient. Next draft QMB will be there. He will eventually get this guy if he wants him. He might even trade Japeth just to say its fair.

The best available at the 3rd pick is Ballungay. But in terms of needs my guess is Abarientos.

But who knows Tim Cone may pull a surprise like in 2003 with Brandon Cablay. Another factor is that Tim has a propensity for drafting Fil-Fors so Ballungay is a possibility.

Watch what will phienix do.. they might go ballungay some other guy at 4th rj at farm team or vice versa..hehe

RJ making a very strong case to be picked as the 3rd pick of tomorrow's draft

Watch for the ginebra pick and northport one..rsa and chua will thank dennis uy if somehow phoenix stick on drafting evan nelle

Nelle is the better choice for Phoenix, they do not need another diminutive offensive guard, though ideally its best for them to get a big man in tiongson or poli decent guards in the draft are a ton
