Converge couldnt stop Johnson. Diallo was also in foul trouble. Converge won games with Diallo not scoring much but they couldnt win this without being able to stop Johnson. I think they should reconsider getting a bigger import next time. Yes its a bit redundant with Arana but its hard to win without matching the other import. With Nocum exploding, Stockton wasnt enough to balance Diallo’s points deficit.

I don't know why Converge sticks with Diallo.. he was already red flag after 3 early games of the conference.. even the great "Malik Pope" (sarcasm) can score against him.. I expect Converge to recruit more quality imports than that...

I'm admit that there are not good calls in that game but Meralco will not win if your import will only score 8 pts in a do or die game.. That's a handicap playing against a team who have import who is considered one of the best (if not the best) imports all time...

What magic? Why they didn't use it with SMB and Magnolia.

Still having the benefit of the doubt whenever an the matchup is SMC vs SMC. I still feel like the SMC will favor Ginebra on this matchup because that is the team that generates revenue. Well it would be good if the semis matchup will be fair and square anyway.

This will be a good matchup. NPs supporting crew were able contribute for 1 game. Can they do it in a series? GSM ihas the deepest backcourt in the league. Will Munzon have help against them? I think Holt or Malonzo will be matched up against Arvin. Both are good defenders. JB will probably be defended by Navarro and Cade. Having Troy injured will be problematic. They need defenders against Jack.

Northport needs to have blow out wins. If the game will be close, expect the calls to always favor the Gin Kings. But still, I will not uderestimate the power of Al Chua. Who knows, Arvin Tolentino will mysteriously be in the injured list in the whole series or the first two games of the series.

Then why don't they do it every year to boost revenue Why Gins didn't reach any finals last year

They won't do it because it would be too obvious. With the game being rigged every now and then, it's already clear to the fans. What more if they do it every year, right? If you can't see how the refs favor Ginebra whenever they play (even against non-SMC teams), then you're either blind or just a Ginebra fan who loves your team despite all the rigging. Remember when Arvin suddenly got injured while they were up against Ginebra in the quarters? Yeah, that makes sense.

It is not really that hard to see, ask anyone on this thread and 9/10 people will agree on Ginebra always being the favored one.

there's a same conspiracy theory in the NBA with officiating and scheduling favoring big market teams, if this is true, damn Luka's gonna get a lot of superstar calls as a Laker

If you really know what is happening, how do they determine which SMC team goes to the finals or not

You are basically asking illogical questions that a non-basketball fan usually would ask. Those questions can be answered if you know how to observe, or if you have basketball knowledge.

Asking for evidence is logical. Just saying it isn't.

Here we ask to substantiate claims like how people here cite stats as a basis for their opinion. But if you want to just want to spread misinformation there is a Reddit for that

Why can you say it if you really know. Beside your the one who said it. Can you not back it up.

Nah, I don't feel putting an effort on it. Besides I am not forcing you to believe me anyway. If you think that the game is fair, feel free to believe it, won't question you about it.

Damn, if the suddened injury of Arvin that made him missed the QF matchup against Gin, or the numerous favored call on every Gins game, or the recent comment made by Coach Luigi Trillo himself stating the 34-19 disparity calls on the Game 1 are just misinformation, are we living on the reality? Or those are basically imaginary situations? Scary it is. Maybe we are just dreaming, lol.
