If QMB is indeed FIBA eligible as he claims, then I won't mind him going to an SMC team. But if it turns out he's not FIBA eligible, then I would want him to go to teams like Phoenix, Converge or NLEX.

Saw a post in a basketball page a few days ago that he promised that he'll show his Ph passport soon. It's definitely fishy as hell. Why can't he show it now?

True... Just like the Cstand trade (w/Pringle and Nonoy) for Holt, Abbarientos and Go... Ganyan dapat... Level the trade value... Or Oftana - Rosario trade... But if DJ Fenner joins the draft, Is QMB still the top pick? Having Fenner is like you have already a taller version of Mikey Williams...

Lol you are comparing a 25 year old generational center against a 31 year old who didnt even show up sa Jones Cup and was only hyped by Snow i think.

sure he is probably a top 10 pick but nowhere he is a top 1. QMB is a lock once he decides.

As of this writing I don't buy the idea that QMB is fiba eligible, im sure someone has already told him what to do for the meanwhile. If you told me that QMB was eligible all this time no way he would go unnoticed by Chot and Cone for Gilas before.

Amores has been terminated from the PBA (Northport) after GAB's further investigation of the situation. Him and Mark Tallo are some of the players whom theyve squandered their second chances

Wonder how Jacob feels with the fact that once his brothers were kicked out of the team the team starts performing exceptionally well

Among Heading, Stockton & Winston, I think Heading is the best play maker. Stockton follows Heading in this category.

Probably high time to move on from Lee for Magnolia letting Jerrick Balanza to make things happen on crucial minutes is a bad sign for your offense. If not give Jerom more minutes

Yes, Heading’s offensive and passing skills are above the other two. However defensively, the other two are better. Not only do they seem to be the quicker and stronger defenders but it seems Heading is not used to doing physical defense unlike the two who played college ball here and physical defense is a must there.

Stockton seems to be taller and lengthier than Winston. This is why even though it seems Winston has the better high level moves, Stockton can do more things. I hope Heading makes the younger two push their games even more. Winston needs to be a better playmaker. He needs to be better if he wants to to get into Gilas. Unfortunately that is not open to Stockton. But he is probably the best two way PG in the PBA right now. He will get big money in the PBA if he is not already getting it.

for all the raucous some of us are making on his nationality status I believe QMB don’t pay much attention to it. Anyways he had graduated Mechanical Engineering degree with Academic honors in Vanderbilt University, completed post-graduate degree in Citadel, a military school and on the verge of getting another masters degree in UP. He has lot of options. There would be a lot of automobile companies in Japan who would like to offer him 6 or 7 figures monthly salary (in Philippine pesos) if he decide not to pursue basketball career. And yes, he can definitely play there as world import status instead of Asian import quota status. And if PBA stick to its policy on monthly salary of rookies of 150k monthly. No brainer QMB will not bite on that.

For him basically no incentive for him to play for PBA unless the PBA team that may draft him will circumvent the rules on rookies’ salary. But again hello tax office…

PBA should be transparent itself with tax adherence. And they should have a whistleblower policy against those tax cheats . As such other teams can check each team players’ salaries…

Heading wins PBA press corps player of the week with 19.5 pts 4.3 rebs 7.8 ast 1.5 stl, these are superstar numbers and a huge factor for Converge's strong rally

Between the two Aussies who is a better back-up center Brandon Bates or James Laput? With or without QMB next season in PBA, a tall back-up center may become a prime commodity. With plans of implementing imports without height restrictions in both Governor’ and Commissioner’ Cups. Vertical assets will come handy in both conferences.

It’s been ages I watched PBA game in tele and only watch it live inside arena MOA or Araneta during my holidays back home. The last time I watched was before pandemic. Though I keep on tabs every now and then through social media. I simply losing interest for many reasons but hopefully with resurgence of Converge, ROS and I may add NorthPort it will reignite my appetite…

As I said Meralco wouldnt have won a championship wo Bates. He became Meralco’s primary center not Almazan. Laput from what I saw is still too slow and too soft. They trot him out against JMF but doesnt seem to be effective otherwise.
