PBA 49th Season

I hope PBA board and Kume rethink again their decision... This is not good to watch especially to kids who wanted to be a professional ballers here... Keep it that for all star games or any other non important games such as off season tune ups..

Doable with the existing basketball court (with a three point line).

not with the way it’s officiated . They allow physicality so they it rewards throwing the ball inside in the post. You can’t get open as easily in the perimeter cause you get hugged on screens.

They should change that instead of the 4pt line. In the nba and in fiba shooting is a premium why the celtics won and why germany beat the usa

No arguments. I actually agree with what you have said.

Quinito defending the 4pt line with his life on X.

Quinito is damn near 80 i think and is still a pet to the PBA and san miguel . No pride what so ever.

I don’t completely hate the idea. what they should have done to spice things up is they’d allow FSA to play provided they lived here for 6 years at least and speak Tagalog. Basically same requirements as trying to be naturalized and allow one per team. Increases the level of play here while also not being as expensive as double imports . Addresses the lack of bigs as well.

FSA’s also turned the UAAP into a jump shooting league on offense

It’s still a turnover / offensive rebound league in its core though .

4pt shot is on the way bro

Lmao. As you can see here, there is so much space on the floor. so many driving lanes and almost non-existent interior defense.

Once they get used to that, it's another adjustment again in FIBA where the lanes are congested and there's not much spacing.

fun fact: Ginebra will be bannered by 3 former NBA GLeague players Holt, Brownlee and Aguilar

Holt played an actual game with LeBron in 2014

Aguilar being a G League player is a stretch when did not even play a single official Gleague game, instead of Gleague players they will be bannered by 3 former Division I players

they had 4 former D1 players before holt..pringle & c-stand were D1

Pringle and Cstand were no longer with the team so i don't count them, but in the incoming governors cup they really do have 4 division 1 players, i forgot to include Ahanmisi, maybe because i don't really feel his impact with Ginebra especially in the playoffs

He is the first ever full-blooded Filipino drafted GLeague player, signed as a practice player, let's give him that recognition at least. Kai didn't play a single GLeague game but we still consider him a part of GLeague Ignite.

Anyway, this Ginebra team has like 3 imports (RJ, Holt, JB). I hope Tim Cone can somehow turn Isaac Go into a Kevin Love type of player but that's farfetched.

.

Yup, He was the 109th overall draft pick of the 2012 NBA D-League draft; drafted 13th in the 7th round by the GSW affiliate Santa Cruz Warriors

If Kiefer left Ateneo early and tried his luck with NCAA D1, he might have been closer to the NBA than Japeth.

Total of 6 Division I players:

Mav Ahanmisi - Minnesota
Justin Brownlee - St John's
Jamie Malonzo - Portland State
Japeth Aguilar - Western Kentucky
Stephen Holt - St Mary's
Jared Dillinger - Hawaii

1 Division II player:

Jeremiah Gray - Dominican University

Overall, 7 US NCAA players.

Idk if Jared Dillinger will retire already.

Fil-am team with Masa appeal
