Pba and one sports just posted that vic manuel and terrence are traded to tf for cahilig and tiongson, feels like a fair trade so i expect that draft picks will be added eventually, in typical smc fashion

With the entry of Cahilig, Jeron Teng will be even pushed further behind in the rotation. Trollano, Cahilig and Teng most likely in that order.

And SMB made themselves more of a complete team after the trade. They need a hustle guy like Cahilig, who can play both 3 and 4, shoot, and defend.

Atleast the trade is not as lopsided as it seems, they could have fleeced TF for more assets
 
I think this is just SMC clearing their locker room with less egos, pretty good chance Ross is next with how often he feuds with Gallent
 
Cahilig can play the stretch 4 for SMB in the Philippine Cup while also getting a solid PG to replace an aging Ross.
 
Oh boy Terrence... He should have taken that overseas offer years before.. he's a hot commodity in Asian leagues due to his popularity (especially in Taiwan)... Maybe now he should try overseas if he have offers... He should get that before.. his talent was wasted in SMB...

Cahilig is decent but he is already 33. Yes him being able to defend the 3 and stretch 4 slot is actually good. SMB has been has been forcing Mo and Trollano in that spot.

Romeo has been injury prone and still has bone headed plays. Tiongson seems to be a cerebral player. They still miss a defensive PG though as Ross can only play limited minutes and his defense is going down.
 
Jerom is available to play in the next conference, at his peak Cone chose him for his Gilas

Jerom was known for his explosiveness and speed. We don't know how his ACL injury affected that. Let's see him first in the PBA. I really hope his loyalty to Nash didn't destroy his career.
 
Now that Terrafirma had their fire sale, when will Alpranis make a move to harvest NorthPort's young players? We need Navarro and Arvin to be in a high profile team again for the NT's sake. But def the likes of Cade, Munoz and Nelle need to be harvested to help SMC teams

Navarro, yes, as his position is a key defensive position, and he's a good defender. I think Arvin's inclusion should depend on whether we have enough wings and bigs who can defend.
 
really surprised SMB hasnt went for Nelle and Navarro, nelle because they badly need a decent PG Navarro bec hes a perfect understudy for Marcio.
 
I would like Converge break the duopoly of MVP and RSA teams in PBA…. I am hoping that Balti and Heading pairing will do wonders in this Commissioners Cup and eventually Philippine Cup…. I believe their Kapampangan boss will try to lure fellow kabalen Remy Macaspac in next year’s PBA draft…
