Wow. Didnt know CYG had conflicts with the players you mentioned. Saan mo nakuha yan?

afaik Guiao had a pretty well known feud with Alapag, as for Parks maybe he just didnt like the guy. I do get why he didnt take Romeo though, this was peak nutcase Romeo in TNT.

I think he had an altercation with Romeo but it was during last seasons Philippine Cup Semis. When Romeo still attempted a shot when the game was already decided.

but i dont think he had problems with Romeo (like what Robert disclosed) though.

Don Don and Kots Kalbs had a literal run-in. DonDon felt Guiao was too close to the court when he was sprinting on the sidelines, hitting him. Guiao for his part didnt move even when he sees DDH running along towards his vicinity.

Parks was invited but he declined. Romeo on the other hand was snubbed.

Never thought I would see Romeo arguably still in his prime age getting outplayed by a young RJ Abbarientos.

Terrence Romeo was supposed to be the next best pg in Asia and take the mantle from Castro. What could have been.

Remember the days that PG's were the least of our problems. Now that we have good wings and bigs, it's now the area that's not our strongest.

I still don't see it in guys like RJ or SJ, the level that Romeo played before from 2015-2018. He's really that guy, arguably at least on the level of Kawamura.

Romeo has always been a shooting guard in a point guard's body. Always looking for his shot first before anything else.

RJ is arguably the closest thing to Kawamura we have today.

Elbowed Dondon and had a face off with Pido who challenged him in a fist fight. This happened 2 years before Yeng was named ths Powerade Team Pilipinas caoch.

yeah, Romeo is probably a better scorer than Kawamura, will he be disciplined and play for his team like Kawamura though is a huge ask, and even now at the twilight of his career with junemar as his teammate he still cant help himself.

I said it before that Romeo and Abueva who both came to Gilas at the same time, clearly had the talent to retain as mainstays but just couldnt sort themselves out due to discipline.

Don Don and CYG had altercation before, that was 2006 (or 2007 AFC) semis, when CYG elbowed Don Don while the latter going to his area, I don't get why CYG doing that because Don Don is a good guy... Same course with Alapag, One of his players (I think it was Torion) clothesline Alapag that the latter break his nose.. While there was no "real" altercation between CYG and Romeo before the last season semis, the former doesn't like his game and attitude, kumbaga may kasabihan "mayabang Galit sa kapwa mayabang"...

He could have a chance to redeem last year, alongside Abueva but both was denied by Chinese organizers.. it could have been their swan song playing for Gilas... Maybe next year's seagames they might have a shot, since B league boys, KBL boys and UAAP/NCAA are ongoing and probably will not be available.. both Romeo and Abueva might likely tap, especially the games will be in December 2025...

Ginebra is having the same problems as RoS, what do you do if your opponent is taller, stronger, faster than you. Ginebra is stifled by TNT defense
