Maybe 500k to 1M fine plus indefinite suspension.. that is the expected penalties for John Amores... Iba pa yung case that the authorities will handle against him.. poor guy, So that Is the bad side joining any ligang labas game... If you are professional player, don't ever participate in any "ligang labas" games that is not authorized by the PBA or any professional leagues... It will cause any trouble for any professional players... The latest casualty there was JR Qui
 
So EJ Anosike is a nephew of former Purefoods and Red Bull import Julius Nwosu.
 
On another note, SMB tightened their defense this game. Found good defensive lineups. Let's see if it lasts.
 
Despite the team closing the game badly I liked what I saw from Junemar. He picked the pocket of Converge's import twice. One he finished with a layup against the import and the other he assisted his import. He seemed to move better on defense also. Was able to go back to his man after trapping the guard. Their new import can't shoot the 3 but is an energy guy. They got in trouble late in the 4th when he inadvertently elbowed Stockton and had to sit for 4 minutes. Their import can handle the ball somewhat for a 4. They don't have another 4 who can do that so they get in trouble in the back court when he had to sit.

The import actually has a good FT form and had around 9/11 FTs IRC. But his form is too flat for 3s. I'm no shooter but it looks to me he tries to shoot his 3s like FTs without much lift from his legs.

It seems Junmar is a better player now, both in the PBA & Gilas, than what he was 6 or 7 years ago.

Well, Converge is a new team kasi & I think this is their 1st time to play in the quarterfinals. At least they were able to put some scare vs. SMB in the end game.

Converge isn't expected to get the better of SMB in this quarterfinal series. In fact, among the teams playing in the quarterfinals, Converge obviously has the least chance of making it to the semis.

I'm already satisfied of Converge's performance in the Governor's Cup. Its a marked improvement from its performance last season. Hope it continues to improve.

Lol why would the PBA fine him that much if he is already in jail? Let him rot there. For an end of the bench player i dont think he will be returning to the PBA anymore hence the suspension is useless.

Favorable actually for converge to get learning experience from no less than the mighty SMB.
Their core is young and the coaching staff is actually good so we may be seeing another good independent team rising from the bottom.
