Lucky for RJ Tenorio, Holt and even Ahanmisi to some extent is there to mentor him. Just the right people to guide his rather gung ho playstyle

I like RJ but I always thought that Juan GDL was the best young guard among the trio (SJ and RJ). Confidence was lost once Tab cut him in favor of the 2.

Although he was still getting contracts left and right from different league, the angas and swagger has tone done a little bit. Confidence wise as well.

Hopefully he applies for the draft next year and sa TNT or Rain or Shine mapunta.

It's not just the height, it's also the position of the import. 6'8"-6''10" height, but it turns out he's a 3/4, not really a big.

As for SMB, they pick mostly 4's as Commissioner's Cup imports. Balkman, Rhodes, Boatwright, so yes, they'd still pick bigs. They won't displace June Mar like that.

With that said, I think it's just easier to do single coverage on June Mar, and just timing doubles if you have a big enough center against him. Stopping him's not a guarantee, but at least you can do more single coverage and the other 4 players take care of the shooters around him. He might still do well, either way.

someone like Hawkinson, Petrusev, Voigtmann or even South Sudan's JT Thor will be perfect alongside Junemar, as they can shoot and guard the 5 spot,

So apparently based on this article,

1. Brandon Edwards only has a hyperextended knee and not ACL, he can still play for Terrafirma this conference .

2. Christian Standhardinger has an expiring contract which expires November 30. this is interesting where he will end up. better for him to be traded before it expires.

3 Javi GDL MIGHT still return for Terrafirma, the question is when.

If TerraFirma are smart and look to rebuild their team, they will trade him for picks.

Oh maybe Perrapirma will trade Standhardinger for Magnolia's Mark Barroca.

Despite his age, Standhardinger is still among the elite big men in the PBA perhaps 2nd only to Junmar. If Standhardinger goes to a team other than Perapirma, I think that team is going to challenge SMB in terms of firepower at low post.

Only valuable trade asset for Magnolia to get Cstand is Sanggalang... If I were Magnolia, I will give any assets just to get Cstand... If other teams outside SMC have a chance to get Cstand, they will go all out to get him, they will throw multiple assets just to get his services... Cstand is a top 5, if not top 3 best players in the PBA today...

They are rebuilding since they joined 2014... It's already a decade since they join, together with Blackwater but both didn't make it atleast semis...

JGDL was as bad as RJ on defense IRC. It was only SJ who tries on defense. Although compared to RJ he was at times predictable.

Import-less Blackwater giving SMB problems so far in the first half

Tankwater stopped trying come the second half smh. And Barefield looking like he is not happy at all playing in that team.

Terrafirma has that wrapped up. BWB needs to sell Barefield to get in the race.

Nah! Even if Perapirma ends up No. 2 in next year's draft, there's either Kamaka Hepa or Mike Philipps to choose from as the No. 2 pick. SMC will just be too happy to harvest either blue chip player a year after next year's draft.

Why is it that I have this feeling that it will just be a matter of time before a trade between Magnolia & Perapirma involving Christian Standhardinger will take place because Standardinger is "just not happy playing for Perapirma"?

And I bet it won't be a quality player/s that Magnolia would give away in exchange for Standhardinger. Well, what else is new?

This ROS team is giving off vibes similar to that Red Bull champion team with Antonio Lang. No real big name star but they have good size in all positions, knock down shooters and hard working defensive players.

One can never not cheer for RoS. Arguably the only independent team that tries very hard, if one doesn't think Northport and Phoenix are more than just farm teams.

really now????

the QMB/Fenner/Hepa/Philips/RHJ/Tolentino sweepstakes on the coming years starts from now???

many are beginning to be unhappy???

oh dear!! those empty seats really makes me cry.

Phoenix is not that farm team.. their talent is not that enough yet.. they are also lacking of legit bigs...

Oftana now with 6 triples in a close game vs. Converge. If only Oftana will shoot like this in Gilas uniform
