IRC he spoke out against SMC. I forgot about what issue. RSA I think got hurt, because even when he was retired they had given him a business and probably other stuff. SMC pulled out those business and other perks I think. On a separate matter, IMO Danny I is a bit overrated. JMF was on his way to PBA stardom even without his training. I think the pivot with chicken wing was the move he taught JF. JF barely uses it now because obvious chicken wings are whistled even by PBA refs. As I read here Kerby Raymundo had a more effective game in internationally. Kerby should be teaching his skills. But Kerby was not at the level of Danny I in the PBA.

Kerby has face up game and decent handles, something the flat footed Danny I lacks.

I think for the best Pinoy bigs that measure 198-203cm (6'6"-6'8"), they should emphasize training and playing at the 4 spot. So emphasize quickness and versatility, especially on defense.

Kerby's skillset is more useful outside the Philippines (FIBA or overseas) for bigs that measure 201cm and under, while Danny I's and June Mar's are better for bigs that measure 208cm (6'10") and up.

do you remember the qf match against ROS when they had a 7 ft european import, and Kerby was going toe to toe and scoring good against that guy, and his great game against Iran in 2007 FIBA Asia championships, too bad he was already a shell of himself when he transferred to ginebra

I don't really remember. I became a fan of the PBA late, just in 2013. I know about Kerby's skillset from watching videos in YouTube.

Speaking of how outdated the pba is,RE Nonoy vertical

Ha! There's been a lot of debate on how they arrived at that number including the pictures being Photoshopped, on inaccurate measurements etc.

ah ok, that game was in 2013 Vmack was ginebra's import, with a twice to win disadvantage Kerby showed up in that series and was vital especially against Sundov, but for me his best performace was the triple overtime win over TNT when he was still with purefoods

Damn Cstan and Pringle can still go, if Im NLEX, ROS or Converge ill trade for them as they are still good gor 2-3 yrs tops

The pole was also unstable when nonoy jumped. God PBA needs to invest on sports science

This Phoenix team is a Matthew Right comeback away to atleast reach a PBA finals lol.

Here's the full game of that do or die game against the 7'3 Croatian and former Dallas Maverick Bruno Sundov.

Phoenix had 2 opportunities, first Rivero's 4 point attempt to get a 1 point lead and then Tio's desperation 4 point attempt of a missed Junemar free throw to tried to tie the game Lol.

This 4-point shot is nonsense. It's just ruining the game. A team fights to climb back from a deficit until they're down by just 1 point, only for the lead to jump back to 5 points again with some ridiculous 4-point shot just like what CJ did. It's such a momentum breaker. Then right after that, the opposing team tries to make an ugly, desperate 4-point shot just to regain momentum.

Innovation? Their ass.

the Distance between the 3 and 4 is miniscule. Maybe make it even further, right near the logo, and make the 4 points really be worth it, because right now, players will be hesitant to attempt a 3 when if one step back, the shot is 1 point more. PBA is indirectly making the 3 point line somewhat irrelevant,

I think they will attempt the three when they are really free

If you look at Terrafirma's current roster, it is far from being a slouch. Standhardinger despite his age is still among the best big man in the PBA today. Stanley Pringle can still stand toe to toe with the league's finest guards like Iskati Thompson, Robert Bolick, Chris Banchero, etc. Then it got players like Juami Tiongson, Kenmark Carino, Cahilig as good supporting cast. Yung coach lang talaga yung problema. Coach Johnedel Cardel don't belong in the league as a head coach. There are a lot of coach out there who can do a much better job than Cardel.

Well, what can you expect from a farm team? What can you expect from a team that is there as a supplier of marque talents to SMC teams. It favors SMB, Ginebra that Terrafirma continues to suck in the league becoz that would place Terrafirma into a very good position in the next rookie draft.

It is a farm team for coach too, lol. Chito Victolero leads what was Kia back then to their first QF. Then Chito Victolero went to Magnolia. After that, they hired Chris Gavina whom also seems to be a good coach, then after that he went to Rain or Shine. It is like they don't really want the team to flourish which is why they also making the coaching staff sucks. Which would lead to disaster and voila, there goes your number 1 pick.
