So a twice battle against groupmates and once against other groups? total of 16 games in elimination round? Or maybe they won't play other groups, much like the in-season nba.

Looks like teams will only play their groupmates, i hope this minimizes the alagang kapatid/ sagip kapamilya issue

Feels like group a is the group of death with Meralco, TNT, Mags and Converge looking competitive, Northport can play spoiler

For group b, the gap between smb/bgsm vs the rest of the field is wide as heck

Ricky Ledo for Blackwater
Aaron Fuller for Rain or Shine

Best they can do is put all the official SMC/MVP teams in 2 group which sums up to 6, then all the independent and so-called independent teams in another lol.

Daruis Days taps by TNT as RHJ is contemplating on signing in Europe.

TNT has tapped the services of Darius Days for the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup as plans to bring back Rondae Hollis Jefferson may have to wait.

Sources said that the Tropang Giga cannot secure his return as the former NBA vet is bound for Europe and is contemplating signing in either Germany or Paris.

Thus, the decision to bring in the 24-year-old forward, a product of the LSU Tigers program and most recently played in the NBA G-League.

See Jones Cup thread, he is defending wo chi you earlier... asking me who is wo chi you, that tells you what fenners game is currently..
I really see chris lutz in him, already 30 so he might be a finish product..

Lol Charles tiu is being outcoached by felton sealy..

is DJ Fenner good as the other fil-ams who decided to be drafted in PBA? Such as Mikey Williams, Stephen Holt

You can tell he’s a little past his prime but still athletic and looks like a really good slasher, hasn’t shown much in the jones cup but watching the Malaysia game his change of pace and sudden burst looked impressive to me

Took a look at DJ Fenner's stats the past few years and he still puts up double digit averages in European leagues and has been praised as one of the better two way imports in the previous FIBA Europe cup. He has one serious injury in 2022 where he tore his meniscus while playing in Poland but has come back from it and was impressive in his stint in Portugal, Belgium and then back to Poland. The only downside to him is his advanced age but if he does decide to apply for the PBA draft he will still most likely get drafted in the first round, I mean look at Caelan Tiongson who is already 32 and was even projected to be a top 5 pick.
