What did he do to delta? I seem to remembee snow badua, saying he's on his way back to letran. He could be a consultant while luib should join the staff of the squires. While i dont usually believe what snow says, he's a known spox for delta pineda. Bigger question is who'll take over the headcoaching duties for converge full time

Letran will take him back. They're not the type to hold grudges if it helps them win and they were allegedly compensated well before naman
 
If the rumors are right there is a strong possibility Converge might go tanking again this season and will defer hiring their target head coach for next season. Among the local coaches Charles Tiu is the front runner but they are likely to go the Meralco route and hire a foreigner to run the coaching staff. And with Converge/Jacob Lao's connections and deep pockets I think Tab Baldwin just might be a target candidate.

Imagine if this happens and QMB is good as advertised and declare for the next draft. we might see a sampayan brigade in converge in Balti, Arana and QMB.

Speaking of Delta besides the impressive number of PBA players that came from his stable (Abueva, Sanggalang, Baltazar, Aguilar, Castro, Santos etc.) he also has alot of promising players in the pipeline playing in the UAAP and NCAA (VJ Pre, Art Roque, Andrei Dungo, Jake Figueroa, Kevin Santos to name a few)
 
How does being a consultant work in the PBA? So basically a foreign head coach is still allowed as long as they identify themselves as consultant? And the PBA is aware of it? I mean what is the point of banning foreign coaches when there is a loophole and they are definitely aware of it. Lmao.

Teams have been doing this for years. Heck this aint even Rajko Toroman first go around in the league. Over a decade ago he was hired by both Barako Bull and Petron Blaze(now SMB). It what it is, tho it would be so much better if they just kick the rule out all together.

as long as the official designation of Head Coach stays with the local, BCAP and PBA couldn't care less, seems like BCAP is only interested in ensuring that the head coach position is exclusive for Filipinos

Excited with Meralco-Converge game. That will Rajko-Nenad's battle of coaching mastery. Will not be surprised if Tab ends up with SMC. Long Hair has a history of setting aside his grudge for his teams' interest.
