So who did Magnolia give up for Lucero? Si lolo Rafi Reaves ba? Or maybe a 38-year old Mark Barroca?

Thanks to sir Money for adding the Tratter part, forgot about Abu.

PBA players being best players of the country has already been debunked.

In relation to this, I picked these 12 Filipino players that are playing overseas:

- Kai
- AJ
- Ange
- Carl
- Dwight
- Javi
- Parks
- Wright
- Adams
- Dalph
- Kiefer
- SJ

How do you think this team will fare in the PBA?

this line up can win a grandslam haha

The viable eligible PBA players right now are June Mar, Japeth, CJ, Oftana, Malonzo, Scottie, Newsome, JB, Boatwright (future NP), Marcio, Balti, and Navarro. Maybe Terrence, but he's 32, he's injury-prone, he's a defensive liability, and his last game for us was in 2018. Guys like Carino, Mamu, and maybe Policarpio, could be assets, but only for the future as they improve.

The issue is, guys like June Mar, Japeth, and Newsome are not easily replaced. June Mar and Japeth, we don't have a rich pool of bigs. Newsome's our best perimeter defender, it's hard to find a guard who can defend like him. Even for wings like Oftana, Malonzo, and Navarro, it's not easy to find an SF who can competently defend the perimeter.

As for best players, our best for Gilas are June Mar, Kai, Dwight, JB, Newsome (basically the OQT starting 5), and AJ.

First among the locals, it's June Mar, Dwight, and Kai on the same tier. Then we go to AJ. Then there's Newsome. Then CJ. Point is (or to reinforce your point), there's already a few overseas players that are better than PBA players not named June Mar. And among the best players in the PBA, few are fits in FIBA.

wheres Snow now, the terrific twin towers that will dominate the PBA lost to a UAAP team

fucker is quiet along with his Converge buddies, if another PBA team lost to La Salle before Converge for sure the fucker will start to talk shit again, but since it's Converge the delta pr guy is meek as a lamb

they are too high on Balti. the way they talk about him as if he's a generational talent who can change the landscape of the PBA. guy got cut by BLeague to be hyped up like that. haha

yeah, though it's part of Snow's PR work for Converge, the funniest thing i heard from him was PBA is implementing the 4 point line for the benefit of Junemar while at the same time he keeps on yapping about Converge getting big by drafting a lot of big men in this year's draft, applying his own logic isn't the 4 point line will be beneficial too for Converge for having a lot of big men? while Converge fans in his playback live were saying that 4 point line is Chua's idea to counter Converge, so which is which i thought it's for the benefit of big men and now it's a counter for Converge which added a few big men from the draft

SMC has Quinito. Only makes sense Dennis also needs his own PR guy.

the difference is Quinito do not attack other teams, while Snow acts like an advocate but he is nothing than just a hypocrite PR man of Delta, i can imagine if it's another PBA team that got defeated by La Salle before Converge for sure he will be all over the internet yapping about why a pro team losing to a college team

I hope Rendon or someone finally shuts him up.

I wonder what the next innovation in the PBA in its desperate attempt to draw fan interest? Half court shot will counted as 6 pts? Or maybe they will lower the ring from 10 feet to only 9 feet so that everybody can dunk thereby making the game more exciting.

Remove dribbles as well.

Just offer free beer/unli beer and hire those taiwanese cheerleaders :)

seriously thought, pba needs to reach the mainstream fans like how patrimonio and paras did (while jawo attracted the everyman).

their attempt was at scottie and it wasnt really succesful, honestly think people nowadays care less about someone's nationality but rather someone's ability. Everyone wants the NBA right now, thats why I think the crowd wouldnt care as much if someone who does not have filipino blood in them played as a local. Today's society just wants results rather than having a story.

for mer personally, I had no negative reactions on that proposed 4-point area.

if we read the history of the 3-point area, many people during those early times also had some nega reactions on it...."what the hell is the purpose of that curve line anyway".

I've already mentioned it before and I won't let it go until kingdom come.

the PBA should really tweak it's eligibility rules to allow AK34 to play in the league considering he is literally a product of Philippine Education and Basketball Development since his teenage years.

the In-Season tournament should be a welcome development considering the league was also sending teams in some regional leagues with 2 imports and scrap all together that 3 conference format instead.
