PBA 49th Season

ROS with their veteran players, former Gilas players and also playing with an import should have beat LaSalle convincingly. But La Salle outhustled ROS and had better half court sets. Its either CYG was out coached by Topex or that the PBA gameplay has stagnated and have fallen so far off that the collegiate style of play has caught up with it. I think even without QMB UP could win and even blowout ROS.

Do we even consider that La Salle an amateur team at this point?

They have KQ and Amos. Both Gilas players who played with and against proven pros.

Michael Philips and Konov should be playing in D1. Lian Ramiro is a bonafide D2 player who already got his degree from University of Arkansas - Forth Smith.

Jacob Cortez was the best player in Beda.

Plus they have an ex-PBA coach in Topex. PBA asst Caloy Garcia.

They played ROS without an FSA.

This team might be even stronger than Terrafirma and Northport. I believe this team can compete in the PBA.

They are non-pros, so yes. But "amateur" only in name, we all know these college kids dont play just for college credits and degrees

technically yes they are amateurs, but level of play? and correct. KQ is being paid 800k per month. Amos received a 4M signing bonus. So Pros in college.

Was it made public whose idea it was to have the 4-point line? It's interesting to know if it came from someone who actually played organized basketball.

There's arguably a chance that it can make the games more exciting, but then again, we can also do that by lowering the rims so there will be more dunks.
It's a slippery slope.

Not to mention it changes the whole game dynamic and makes our players get used to a rule that is not used internationally.

It’s mostly likely Vargas or Chua.

Money is on Vargas because he’s a bigger idiot than Panlilio.

While La Salle is really a talent laden college team, it is still composed mostly of players who are only in their early 20's. ROS on the other hand is made up mostly of players in their late 20's & in their early 30's. At ang gugulang at ang dudumi pa ng laro ng mga taga ROS led by Belga.

Kevin Quiambao is what, 22 or 23? Mike Philipps perhaps is of that age. Mason Amos is barely 20 years old, while Alex Konov is around 19 years old.

Its like a promising cadet team playing against a legit professional team composed mostly of veteran & experienced players na ang dudumi pa maglaro. No matter how skilled & promising that cadet team is, the professional team will always have the edge in experience.

PBA should take disciplinary action against Beau Belga for his rampant roughhousing against La Salle players in that recent ROS vs. La Salle game in Davao. I say the guy is really a dirty player. Madumi talaga maglaro! Other players are just physically tough & physical maglaro but with no intention of hurting the opponent. Belga on the other hand is playing with cruel intentions eh. He obviously wants to hurt opposing team's players. The sad thing is that, Belga's other teammates at ROS eh nahawa sa kadumihan nya maglaro. The other ROS players are also getting rough & physical. Even some of La Salle's players were also getting rough & physical. This game reminds me of the that exhibition game between Smart Gilas-1 of coach Rajko Toroman versus Burger King team in 2009 in which Burger King players, especially Wennie Arboleda, were roughhousing Smart Gilas players. Coincidentally (or was it?), Burger King was then coached by Yeng Guiao who is the current coach of ROS.

Iba yung physical lang talaga maglaro kisa yung madumi talaga maglaro with intention to hurt people.

That's why that fucking squidward inept of a coach has no credibility, as one of the dirtiest mf in philippine basketball, always insecure and one of those who are agains foreign coaches in PBA, it's also against his former team when Tejada's career ended, i don't know why PBA has not sanctioned Belga in with the same sanction as Abueva, if there's another player who deserves an indefinite suspension it is Belga

Dlsu up double digits against converge at the half, i wonder if the archers can compete against smb, bgsm, tnt or meralco

I think they can with tnt and meralco but not against ginebra and San miguel.

Holt will feast against the guards of dlsu and the archers don't have any solution for junemar and perez

wheres Snow now, the terrific twin towers that will dominate the PBA lost to a UAAP team

yeah i dont think Arana and Balti are the future of the PBA. How do you call that twin towers when arana's like 6'7 on a good day while balti is only 6'8.

northport duo Lucero and Navarro is better and more skilled than those two sadly Lucero is off to the Hotshots.

why is Belga and Norwood still in the league. Even Racal.

CYG and his outdated basketball plays, he just compensates it with defensive physicality

Lucero is now with Magnolia though.

PBA players being best players of the country has already been debunked.

In relation to this, I picked these 12 Filipino players that are playing overseas:

- Kai
- AJ
- Ange
- Carl
- Dwight
- Javi
- Parks
- Wright
- Adams
- Dalph
- Kiefer
- SJ

How do you think this team will fare in the PBA?

I think Norwood despite his age is still serviceable in the PBA level. Belga on the other hand who looks more like a sumo wrestler than a professional basketball player doesn't bring anything in the game except shit dahil subrang dumi maglaro.
