Iberostar Palma de Mallorca (LEB Gold) signed 27-year old 6'8 Norwegian power forward Karamo Jawara (1991).
He started the season at Cambados Cidade Europea do Vino 2017 in the LEB Silver. In 16 games he had 12.0ppg, 9.8rpg, 2.2apg and 1.1spg this season.
The last season Jawara played at Doxa Pefkon in Greek A2 where in 32 games he recorded 12.2ppg, 7.7rpg (5th in the league) and 2.4apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Jawara's team won MEAC Regular Season for two years in a row (2014 and 2015), and he was also voted All-MEAC 2nd Team back in 2015 at his college time.
Jawara represented Norway at the World University Games in Kazan (Russia) 5 years ago.
He has played also professionally in Romania (UBT Cluj Napoca), Greece (Apollon Patras) and Norway (Froya Basket).
Jawara attended North Carolina Central until 2015 and it is his 3rd season as a professional player.
