New Interbasket Homepage (Happy 4th Bday IBN)

Hey friends,

In honor of Interbasket's fourth anniversary, I wanted to unveil our newest homepage. It's been long overdue (understatement) and I've spend the last two weeks (and most of this weekend) working on it, tweaking it, and making it just right. There are 3 or 4 aspects that I still want to work on (lack of banner, index redirects to /news and a couple others), but overall, I think it looks pretty good. Check it out.

Would love to hear what everyone thinks. Play around with it, give me some comments, report any errors, make some suggestions...

I also wanted to mention that I am looking for writers and contributors that are interested in helping me tagteam the new homepage by writing unique recaps of important games, commentary and opinion pieces.

With that said, anyone that is interested in writing an in-depth preview, a scathing commentary, or an anything basketball-related, IBN wants to hear from you also. Send me a PM if interested in any of the above.

Congratulations to my friend, Stuart, who conceived the idea of an international BB forum and made it happen. Some of us have been with you since before IBN started and on through the slim times. Now we look at what IBN has become in four years, and we are delighted and amazed.

Way to go, pal.

reminds me of the old interbasket, which i preferred. this definitely is great i love the new tweaks to it. thanks once again boss
 
yeah great move :) 100 years IBN !!!

I will create now new banner on site, and then I will send another thinks/ideas to Stuart :)

I think now the front page looks great Stuart. News are being updated in a timely manner. But it all depends on how long will this go on and how we can keep it up with contributions and news items.

BTW, thanks Stuart for mentioning my name in the historical of the Interbasket message board. It must be I left some impact early on... It's true I may have not been contributing that often recently, but I keep interest in special subjects and try to add on them persistently.

Earlier members do a great mistake by cutting themselves off totally from Interbasket. Yes it is time consuming to log in every day and follow things in detail. So I understand the withdrawing of some after huge contributions.

But I think if you have some minutes to spare, you can still visit it occasionally and drop a line or some comments, or develop a special line of interest and contributing in that limited category, just to keep your ties going, even if at a slower pace.
