I now think Aldin Ayo may have not worked out well for San Beda. I posted this after the pandemic. It is because of Ayo’s anti Fil-Foreigners stance. Remember when he was appointed coach of DLSU, Ayo declined to take in Fil-Ams Kurt Lojera and Tyrus Hill. So Lojera and Hill ended up in Adamson. Both Lojera and Hill moved to DLSU when Ayo was gone. In UST Ayo relegated two Fil-Foregners back to Team B ( forgot the names but one was a Fil-Can guard).

Fast forward to the PBA with Converge when Ayo was coach, he traded away both Lojera and Hill.

If Ayo made it to San Beda, we may not have seen Fil-Foreigners Jomel Puno, Jimmy Reyes and Janti Miller. And Ayo may have clashed with the recruitment style of Jude Roque.

I dont think it will be sustainable if NCAA goes YT - they need to find a good network that can market them and help them find good sponsors. They are a notch lower than UAAP - we all know that, but having a stable broadcast partner will help the league. To be honest there are some players in the NCAA that are so much better than those in the UAAP.

You and me both. The comsec is full of gamblers. It's always negative overall because there are always losers and are always quick to blame players, coaches, and refs when things are not going their way.

And the worst part is i dont think ncaa minds at all haha. Its all engagement for them at this point. They dont even have mods to filter and delete malicious comments.

Mapua can do so much better. Maybe gilbert malabanan? Not an alum tho. He and randy have similar styles, except that i think gilbert is a better defensive coach and slightly better system offensively...he'll fit in with the defensive mentality the team has. He was also a big in the pros so it could help in drex, joe and tucker's growth.

agreed. He prefers locals/ probinsyanos, as most of them don't have that "ego" compared to some fil-foreigners (except Boy Mantika) lol iykyk. I still believe if that lockdown fiasco didn't happen, UST might have won atleast 1 championship few years ago.

Bong Ramos and Junel Baculi are both MIT alumni.

Maybe coach jack santiago will fit, he is an alumnus. On the side note, if the allegation is true, it could damage the reputation of both the school and Coach Randy. That Snow guy is seriously tarnishing the image of people and institutions.

Jack Santiago is my fist option if I’m Mapua given that he is also an alumnus of the school.

Closely monitoring the alumni group. Usually they post about a zoom stream date to address the issue. Hopefully it is just a rumor.
 
Mapua has a Mapua Global Support something. . . . . Did they not see what he was doing? Money poured out for their season 101 campign since they were expecting they will have a very fruitful campaign.
