Money can be a game-changer, providing security for themselves and their families. However, this also raises concerns about the integrity of college sports. If recruitment becomes purely a bidding war, it undermines the essence of school-based competition.
The real issue isn’t the athletes taking better offers, it’s the system that allows unchecked financial influence to dictate where talents go. Until there’s proper regulation and transparency, this will continue to be a game of “who can pay more,” rather than who develops athletes the best.
