They should, i mean he even gave him those donkey kong axe chops lol. Way waaay excessive imo. Even after all this time he still hasnt learned to keep his emotions in check, reason why i wasnt a fan of his move to benilde. He's just gonna bring distraction to the team. Its just unfortunate since shawn umali the student is actually doing really well in school.

Anyways i dont think ncaa can do anything about it. Not only was it outside ncaa, its the offseason. I think best way to handle him is just not to include him in the lineup. Benilde is all set at the position with liwag coming back, plus they still have options naman. As for umali maybe he should just focus improving himself then maybe plan on going pro, he's already 24 anyways.

I was thinking of the Frankie Lim-Gorayeb brawl. Upon checking it was an NCAA Volleyball game. I thought that incident was not an NCAA game so I thought what happened there could be applied to this recent Umali incident. Anyways I just hope for the proper complaints to be filed for Umali to learn his lesson.

That could be a spacing and defensive nightmare unless either one develops atleast a midrange game or foot speed that can keep up with the quicker 4's in the ncaa (tho gulapa looks like he has the tools to do so).

Kinda similar with benilde last year, they could have played big since they have the personel(turco, serrano, arciaga can all be the 5) and have liwag as a 4 but they still opted to keep him at the 5 and instead have multiple 6'4-6'5 players on the floor together (sanchez, eusebio, sangco, morales, jarque) with him that can defend the wing. In my observation benilde's coaching staff realized that if they have the twin towers lineup, while intriguing, does expose them against the quicker teams (baste, lpu, eac) while they'll be sacrificing a lot of speed and athleticism.

They did play a lot together in pinoyliga game earlier against ateneno...gulapa was primarily used as a 4, the back up of drex was Reyno...Gulapa will be an effective 4, he has the mobility, can dribble a bit and can stay in front of his man. He even shoot a 3 at the top of the key...

The current Pinoyliga for the Cardinals is very important for the players, its a “try-out” for them to be part of S101 line up, that is why coach Randy is watching the game. He was upset by the loss and attitude of the players last game vs NEU.

Seems all players understand that if they dont make S101 line up, they can have their time by S102, as 7 players are graduating after S101.

but current players (played last S100) may think twice if they will make a move, specially that coach Nani is with JRU, like TJ Abdullah, Arjay Pantaleon and Brix Reyno should they not be lined up for S101.

No JE Lopez too. Should've given the last shot to Marcelo but I get it, Alloso hit the crucial 3 but missed his next shot. Overall still a good game.

Benilde was also on their 2nd game of a back to back, prolly why they fell behind in the 1st half. Most of those guys especially those in the jr mpbl is also in their 3rd-4th game for days now.

Benilde just got their bearings in the last quarter. Solid game for Umali even with all the issues.

I think SJ Moore and Adrian Sollano have a game later in the Junior MPBL. The Jr MPBL sked is brutal. It’s like their 3rd straight game in 3 days no day offs.

Some of the kids that caught my eye were guards Jaymark Lloren and Jevy Hinoguin,

Hinuguin was actually caloocan kid, and also played for kankaloo last season, this maybe a bittersweet moment for him defeating his hometown for the crown. I think baste will be a good fit for him, as their next great PG.

As for lloren he was with ue, not sure if he's still there.
