Where will Aldous Torculas transfer? He is eyeing an ncaa team.
Best fit?
SBU or CSB where he can play his position (3/4)
Letran will have Jimboy and Roque, so probably he’ll play the 4 there.
In Mapua, there’s Cuenco, Hubilla, Nitura, Recto and Concepcion. Cuenco can play the 2, but Torculas plays the same position with the guys mentioned.
Maybe he can go to LPU or Perpetual.
In SBU when Torculas is eligible to play, Puno’s gone, Payosing, Calimag and Miller on his last year. He and Daniel Marcelo could be promising for SBU.
In CSB, Sanchez and Ynot will be gone and he can probably play the Sanchez role in CT’s team.
It’s a great move career wise to boost his draft stock and maybe get drafted to the PBA.

Doesn’t make sense. He’ll be one and done by the time he is eligible. He’s wasting a year of playing by redshirting. He should go finish with SBU and then try to get drafted.
He is playing the wing because of his size and yet he’s still undersized for that (6’1). He has to develop his creating ability and a decent jumper.
He has the tools to be a poor man’s Scottie Thompson.

Boss frank is a minor UP booster besides sponsoring the UP WVT. So he may get an offer to end up with benilde or letran. Same way benilde ended up with anton eusebio. But wont be surprise if ends up with san beda as well. Tho personally id rather have belmonte lol

He will be exposed in the uaap. Honestly he got lucky he got the finals mvp because of his hustle but stats wise that should be andrada.
Exactly, he'll be more 1 dimensional since most of his offense comes from hustle points, and he prolly wont rebound tbat well with all those tall bigs in uaap. He'll only bring his defence which isnt that great to begin with. He should just stay and try to win another one for san beda to boost his draft stock.

I have no worries Payosing leaving. He has helped us win a title. The man is like an energy bunny on the floor. His strength is his motor (energy) and on the fastbreak. I felt the system this past S100 wasn’t used to Payosing’s and Puno’s strengths which is on the break. SBU should’ve run more on offense. But Yuri was more on slow, deliberate and half court sets
He also might have felt threatened with the arrival of Miller because they play the same position which is 2/3.
If 6’2 Payosing leaves after 2025, SBU has a ton of guys waiting in line at his position namely 6’3 Richi Calimag (2 years), 6’3 Miles Culdora (4 years if he’s demoted to Team B this season) and probably 6’2 Red Cub MJ Vailoces who has worked out already numerous times with the RLs.

Not true. Been hearing that for 2 years already from supposedly 'sources knowledgeable' with the situation hahaha. Tho it probably gained traction when sga was closed to going all in UE. For now seems like they'll stay with both MBT and WVT of csb. In fact 2 potential recruits are already training with the mbt. Cant name them now until they are committed or play for team B. Ninong frank is also trying to get torculas for csb as well. While the wvt just recruited a trio of top commits from regional powerhouse bacolod tay tung, and most recently a pair of former UE players. So wouldnt make sense for sga to keep recruiting players and leave the season after. Sga is even considering entering the menvs volleyball scene with csb mvt who also got a former NU player.

I think UE is the school SGA is leaving. They already transferred the volleyball players they recruited to ue to other sga backed schools. Soon the ue juniors basketball team may follow suit. Most likely to the squires who karl santos is also coaching as an assistant.

Most of those ue jrs players will be gone after the ongoing season. The uaap jrs season kasi was about to start when the falling out with ue happened. There was no time to transfer out players and currently letran squires is already loaded. Next year many spots will be up for grabs when the last of the allen ricardo boys graduate from the team and karl santos is designated as the head coach.

He has atleast 3 years, 6'4 maybe 6'5 on a good day but yeah can play both forward spots.
