Half of Mapua players today, played early this afternoon for San Juan Young Knights in the Junior MPBL agaianst Novaliches Play Makers, it was a close semi-finals game. And they rushed from QC to Enderun to catch up with Pinoyliga. (which I think is the reason why the Cardinals had numerous technical fouls because of playing uniform violation)
He and manalili were supposed to be letran's building blocks towards their return to the final 4. Phenomenal catch by your team. I feel like jimmy and janti still needs more experience especially in the clutch. Jimmy bricked that open shot near the basket 2nd to the last possession while janti on that last possesion nearly cost them the game with that TO. Tho im sure both should be ready by season 101 starts.
Yeah, I would've never guessed that we could snatch him from Letran. Haha. I agree with your sentiments about Jimmy and Janti. The good thing is that they have a lot of pre-season leagues they can participate in. Better to fumble and stumble now rather in NCAA. Haha
Solid performance by the non uaap/ncaa teams in pinoyliga for day 1. Seems like they caught the ncaa teams by surprise. Had it not for the marcelo three, it would have been 0-3 for ncaa today. May be only against Team b, there's certainly talent outside of the 2 grand leagues. Wont be surprised if some of these guy get recruited by the biggee programs.
Could tell they were gassed late in the game which allowed new era to catch up from that big deficit. Even san beda had trouble with enderun in the first game. It took a dan marcelo lucky bounce three for san beda to win the game. Had enderun secured the ball after that janti to', things would have been different.
San Beda Team Behold led most of the game. Started the first quarter with like 14-3 or was it 16-3 score. They relinquished the lead mid-way in the 4th quarter.
Good coaching by Andre Santos. He gave each of the stars an iso-play in the final one and one half minutes. He started with Jimmy but lost his footing in a drive. Then it was Janti who lost his dribble and Enderun forced a jump ball. But SBU got lucky with possession arrow. And it now set it up for the Marcelo winning play. The first option was to go to Jimmy in the corner. The guys made a boo-boo moving already when the ref have not yet handed the ball to the inbounder (Jamora). In effect Enderun saw what the play would look like and all of them were looking at Jimmy in the corner. And disregarding Marcelo as the final option of the play which turned out to be the winning play.
Janti banged his head in a whiplash motion to the floor around that final three minutes in a collision with an Enderun player. He was subbed out and came back later.
Team Behold were without 6’5 Etulle and 6’7 Sollano.

He missed SBU’s game yesterday in Pinoyliga and this afternoon’s Sulit BB semis game.
I think he will not make SBU Team A for the third straight year.

I've been told that payosing will play his last yr next season and try his luck in the uaap well goodluck kid! Hehe lets be realistic here he cant dominate the ncaa then you will go to a league that there's FSA. Lol
Dlsu or ust? Only way i see him work in uaap is if he develops a reliable jumper that can allow him to slide down as a guard. His current play style isnt a fit in uaap, as you've said he'll get smothered by the fsa's not to mention the local bigs who're actually legit
