Yup, i like him as small ball 4 but the problem is i dont think he's establishing himself to be 'that' guy or maybe the coaching staff hasnt unleashed him yet. Dude only average 7 pts in 20 mins of playing time. If he's gonna be one of the top guns, Mapua and clint escamis will need more than that for them to keep up with the rest of the contenders.
Mapua is good to go with its 1 to 4 position, the only hole that is lacking is the center spot which bonifacio vacated, fermin isn’t getting his groove yet while the others (jabonete, recto, hubilla) is quite undersized to be the 5. Mangubat is impressive while bancale improved and cuenco is steady. Other than those guys, I dont see someone who will surprise. Hopefully, coach randy hasn’t shown all his cards yet.
