Jimuel already finished his SBU college transfer application and stayed temp at 1st st. Will return to US next week to finish his other obligations and will be back in mendiola come june.

Apparently Jimmy was in attendance of the Marinerong Pilipino SBU game last week and attended a family reunion in Batangas over the weekend.

Play style and demeanor wise.. Clint Escamis is pro ready. Kbl teams will give him the playing time to get his rhytym ala Ethan Alvano.. you have him with Mac tallo and so far so good..

Gemao is part of UP Pinoyliga lineup. Maybe thats the reason why Hubilla was let go by UP.

Unlikely. They're not even playing the same position and gemao hasnt commitred to them. Up doesnt really ban their guys from leaving anyways (unless of course you're a highly touted recruit like jared bahay lmao). Not to mention there's already a log jam in his position in up. If im hubilla, leaving is the smartest move ill make. His playstyle may not even fit in the uaap.

CEU walloped SBU in the DLeague last night and led by as much as 20 points. I did not see Etulle, Jalbuena and Collin play. While Bismark and Ronrei continue to recover from their injuries.

CEU waxed hot from the outside early even with a hand on their faces. While SBU struggled with their shots. From the get go SBU’s mind was somewhere else as they looked unprepared.

SBU is a different team this year and has a long way to go before they can mesh. It’s their first tournament “together” this year. In contrast, last year 2023 before they entered the DLeague they have a played a couple tournaments (Ballout Inter-Collegiate and AsiaBasket in Malaysia).

They seem to have not gelled that well as a team. I hope they can catch up in time for the coming NCAA season. And no excuse, CEU came prepared and was obviously the better team yesterday. The Red Lions is feeling the void left by Jacob Cortez, not because of his sheer talent ,but the kind of leadership that he used to provide in the last two seasons.

Maybe they're still trying to establish their roles. After all, ya'll lost your number 1 scorer, a couple of your bigs and guards who was in the rotation.

Its always a challenge integrating returning team a guys with up and coming team b guys. Csb faced the same situation, what made it easier for them is that only a handful of team a guys will return so chemistry wise it wont be team a vs team b in the rotation and the coaching staff is making a great job distinguishing roles for the players early on and i believe thats the key: the sooner the guys know their roles, the sooner they'll jell and work seamlessly. We still have a couple of months, games, tourneys(and for you guys overseas training) to patch things through so you'll be fine.

The latest big man in the US recruitment scene. 6 foot 9 Dominic Sarmiento of the Tumakbo basketball. His profile says he graduated HS in 2022 and was born 2004.

Rumor has it that Sean Chambers and FEU have secured his commitment. But hope SBU has a shot in recruiting him when Jude goes there in a couple of weeks.

Boss Jude wont be attending the Filam Nation event. His schedule US trip is in July.

I hope TM Jude bags a big man. As we can see in SBU’s last two games (CEU and DLSU), RLs were decimated in the paint due to a lack of quality big men.

Hmmmm is TDLC connected with Tumakbo now? Well maybe FEU has first dibs with Tumakbo due to their Alaska connection.

Kinda OT does anyone know if Aaron Fermin transferred again? Didnt see his name in the PinoyLiga Cup.
