NCAA Season 100

Who played for EAC? No doubt ust has some solid recruits for next season, but having trouble against ncaa teams who don't have an fsa is kinda alarming. I mean eac don't even have a solid big right now. And they were even defeated twice by csb in pinoyliga. Sure cabanero prolly isnt playing but its the coaching staff and pido that needs to step up now.

Not sure of the list of players that played with EAC, my apologies. UST started with FSA-Manaytay-Cabanero-Robinson-Padrigao

UST's FSA plays like local lang hehe. The UST community is also waiting if Pido will be replaced. Also hoping that a couple more assistants will be added aside from Juno Sauler and Peter Martin.

EAC’s FB page says the Generals led the first three quarters including a 14-point lead at halftime. Looks like it was a come-from-behind victory by the Tigers at their home floor, 93-91.

Yup their fsa can be improved upon but hey having one atleast is better than not having at all like last year. If pido goes, who's gonna replace him?

Anyways cabanero and manaytay played pa pala, hope to see the rest of the new recruit play with them soon. Has mahmood join practices already?

There were rumors of Juno taking over but for now are just rumors.

Mahmood practiced na but only for one time only. The fil can nation select team is playing today in the semis for the Manila live tournament.

Thanks big cat. Checked the fb page of the generals and I think most of the new guys for EAC like Pagsanjan Lucero and Shanoda played.

I also read from the same FB page that AP Manlapaz is already out of EAC. Anyone who knows what happened?

Focus on semi pro leagues is my guess. Even before going to eac, he's been to numerous ligang labas, so baka allergic din sa books. Maybe that's why they pushed for nitura.

Another 2 games in 1 day for csb on saturday. Championship game for pinoyliga against dlsu by 11:30 am and quarterfinal game for psl against san juan(who's twice to beat) by 8 pm. Wonder how charles tiu will use their guys knowing both are must win games.

I might be in the minority, but i think CSB can win the game vs DLSU than vs San Juan.
Against DLSU it was really close and the have Ynot & Sanchez in the Pinoyliga lineup

Yeah im already crossing off that san juan game. Basically a home game for them since its gonna be played at filoil. Not to mention whenver they face teams in the top 6, the reffing becomes inconsistent.

If the Squires have joined this year's NBTC, baka tatalunin nila karamihan sa foreign teams & might become the champion.

St. Benilde edges DLSU, 81-80 for the PinoyLiga Next Man Cup title.

As predicted Matthew Oli will be their starting SF. His game is similar to Dylan Ababou. No other Blazer SF comes close to his skills in the perimeter.

Ian Torres their combo guard superstar in the making might be the x-factor for them to be successful in S100.

It will still prolly depend on the matchup. If they want to go big, they prolly start Liwag+any 2 of sanchez eusebio jarque and sangco. Oli can play 2 but with charle's preference for 2 guard lineups, i see him coming off the bench. Played poor today so good thing the backourt combo of torres and ancheta stood out today.

Only thing i have against torres is he gotta limit his to's and improve is man to man D. He gambles to much on steals making him lose the one his defending or commit unnecessary fouls. He would prolly be staggered with ynot and most likely will be paired with cajucom.

Solid run by csb to end pinoyliga with a ring. Ended the elims at 3rd(tho i believe they should have been atleast sec9nd since ust the number 1 seed played lesser games). Had to go to the play in against lpu, had to beat a rugged mapua team twice, face ust team brimming with solid recruits and fsa's and finally cross street rival only defeated them by a point.

That makes it 2 championships for this batch of blazers so far.

Oli and Sanchez vying the starting SF for CSB. i think Oli can play the SG.

Jarque as well, he's been starting in some games in psl. Even macoy marcos when he comes back. Sanchez naman can play small ball 4

Sanchez can play the 3. But I think he will be CSB’s 4 with Eusebio as the second stringer 4. Oli can play the 2 but you lose a good creator like Torres or Ynot if Oli plays the 2.

This is CSB’s best offensive five and as used by Charles in the end game: Torres (1), Ynot (2), Oli (3), Sanchez (4) and Liwag (5).

As for DLSU, I think Macalalag and Gollena are on the bubble to make Team A as their spots will be most likely taken away by HS recruits Andrei Dungo and James Nacua.
