I don't think it's a typo. Heard that the buzz about whether Hubilla will actually graduate highschool (due to his "questionable" academic performance) was sparked by him planning to move from Letran to Mapua.

If proven true (Poli Situation), will Mapua be suspended? Because this is the 2nd straight season that they violated eligibility rules (fielding ineligible players). And DLSU, was suspended after they’ve done it.

ABS-CBN is reporting that Hubilla changed his mind. He’s now committing to Mapua.

From UP to Letran to Mapua. All while still in HS. He’s 21 now and will be a big contributor for the Cardinals.

Hmm you might be on to something, he has an axe to grind against smc, yet smc aint even handling perps right? he's in good hands with san beda and develop him as a wing. someone told me adamson doesn't have plan to keep him because he's undersized at PF position (6'2") and too loaded din SF position nila. I think its only Vince Reyes they want to keep, but I don't think the kid will stay there.

Bonzalida was the Baby Falcons' toughest player who was assigned to guard NUNS's resident 6'8 import Akowe in the finals. While having the toughest defensive assignment in game 3, he led his team in points and rebounds to clinch the championship.

JC was brought to San Beda right after the UAAP juniors finals by Jason Castro. Everything was a hush hush out of respect for Adamson as they still had to play in the NBTC. Bonzalida is a high energy blue collar worker. Scrappy and will die for his rebounds and steals.

San Beda liked what they saw in Bonzalida so much that they prioritized him over Vince Reyes. Vince, the no. 7 ranked NBTC player, was offered a team behold spot this season because the team is just too stacked. Vince is a scorer. San Beda is stacked with shooters and scorers but they don't have a player yet that possess Bonzalida's qualities.

By the way, Vince Reyes is 6'2. Bonzalida is taller than him and can't be possibly 6'2. .

Prolly played part of the reason that hubilla didnt push thru with the knights. Crazy big the pool letram has now, and we're not even counting the potential kampampangan recruits delta will bring along.

If that is indeed the case then the Hubilla transfer definitely makes sense. He technically has the usage given to him especially if Escamis leaves after next season.
