They need to move away from weekday games as well
imo for some, they able to watch weekday games in ncaa because there is no competition from television unlike in weekends where you do all other things..

this is probably gma sports pulling the strings. this proposal came right after tv5 became a block timer in rptv9 (formerly cnn). pba will now be broadcasted on rptv9 starting today. gma sports will have a tough time competing against the pba and uaap in the first sem of the school year.

Maybe the NCAA doesnt want to go head 2 head with the UAAP? It wants all the attention of the basketball world.
SBU vs Mapua did 22k attendance (as per GMA pero looks padded) but then DLSU vs UP sets an attendance record of 25k plus (eye test leaves no doubt)

Not that familiar with the k to 12 timeline but when do grade 12 students usually graduate nowadays? This shift may also affect ncaa jrs players planning to play for any ncaa srs team since it may be a long wait for them to debut in the srs division. Like can a graduating grade 12 player immediately play for any srs team if they shift to the second sem sched?

This shift may also affect ncaa jrs players planning to play for any ncaa srs team since it may be a long wait for them to debut in the srs division. With k to 12 were hopeful that we prevent high schoolers to decelerate just to have eligibility but heck we see 20 year old grade 12 students.. And we wonder if these guys didnt treat education seriously..

HS graduation are either on a May or June.

New ones. For season 101 if ever. There's been interest in transferring but nothing definite. But there are a lot of players interested with 2 of them, imo, could be impact players as soon as they are eligible.

Remember when we had that extra long season? I was able to watch more games as they aligned with my free time. I have mixed feelings about this. I certainly hope this isn't some kind of ploy by some desperate teams.

Looks like he wants to go to csb pero i believe csb has little to no interest. I havent heard any discussions from our side with regards to him. He's been sending feelers thru his girl who's also a benildean. Dude's a headache and csb has its own sets of headaches already. Apparently his teammates love him pero he's the kind of player who would openly object to any of his coaches instructions.

I think he envies CSB guys like Liwag who are getting really nice exposure with international tourneys and the pro leagues. Liwag is also his batchmate right? They entered the league the same year / season.
