Perpetual assistant coach Richard Del Rosario will be named Team Manager to Gilas Pilipinas.

Former NCAA MVPs Scottie Thompson and Calvin Oftana will be named to the pool.
 
CSB losses a close one against dlsu in 2OT in Pinoyliga NMC. Still a solid effort considering none of the team A regulars(cajucom, marcos, turco and Sangco) played. Eusebio also not uniform.

Really loving Ancheta's intensity, he should be over cometa in the guard rotation. Ondoa looked a lot better than his former ICC teammate, the older jake gaspay. Bigs did a solid job containing DLSU's fsaS, making life difficult for the prized fsa recruit agunanne. Back-to-back games csb did well against teams with FSA's. Arciaga and Morales so far has topped the bigs depth chart; Serrano has improved a lot too, while Mara(DNP) in danger of being relegated to team B if season started today.
 
San Beda to face Adamson in an exhibition game in Lipa (February 8). It’s the first game for Season 100 team.

In contrast St. Benilde already had a head start participating in PSL, PinoyLiga. Heck you can even count the FilBasket last July because their core and bulk of points contributors come from their Team B.

Allen Liwag, still with jet lag delivered a huge game for CSB in PSL with 17 pts, 22 rebs, 4asts.

But no Ynot & Sanchez though..

Ynot and Sanchez are lined up with a different PSL team, they joined way before CSB joined the tourney. Not familiar with how psl transactions work but it seems it either theres a rule banning them to play for csb or their davao team aint releasing them.

After arriving from the South, James apparently watched the PSL game between CSB Blazers and MisOr in the evening.
 
Payosing is definitely good as gone. Good thing for Yuri, there are so many elite talents waiting in the wings, ready to replace those deserters. They didnt learn from what happened to Ynot and company.
 
former letran squire andy gemao signs with fil-am nation and will play in the nbtc in march.

so far it’s only james payosing who still has not attended practice. everyone else is accounted for and enrolled (including payosing).

the psl game (csb vs misamis) where james watched was in support of eac guard deo lucero, who also hails from davao. payosing and buensalida joined birthday dinner of lucero after the game.

coach yuri says james wants to stay with san beda. but says “it’s complicated” bcoz of the people behind him.

alex visser will not play out his final year.

Speaking of EAC's deo lucero, he's a transferee to watch out for the generals, came with doromal and oftana from arellano. He played solid in the fil basket dasma champioships, especially against csb. Should be a key guy off the bench for coach jerson cabiltes next season.
 
3 game winning streak and a 30 pt blowout win for the blazers in PSL. No Ian Torres, but all 13 guys who suited up scored with no one playing above 21 mins. Solid game for the usual benchwarmers in Angelo Vanguardia and Irele Galas(incliding higlight reel layup) who both reach double figures, geric canete who's one of the last guards in the rotation dishing out 8 assists. All in all, CSB made 33 assists and 16 steals. Still no Anton Eusebio while Allen Liwag also did not play.
