NCAA Season 100

The players I said above are the ones who I think have gilas potential. LJ Daep (6'7 who can play as a wing) have the biggest chance. Aries Borja seems to play as big even though he is only 6'7 so that's a red flag for gilas already. I can't think of any guards there who has the potential to be gilas yet because we have a bunch of guards lining up who are definitely better than the ones mentioned above (Andy Gemao, Kiefer Alas, James Sanderson if given a chance). So these guy will be the priority I think.

There are projects though, Owen Calanasan 6'10, and John Tagocon 6'9. The gilas stint depends on their development. Ram Sharma also plays as a big despite being only 6'6, that lowers his chance.

In fairness to coach renren ritualo, even if sharma was their tallest guy in the lineup last year, he still allowed him to play more off the dribble so ball handling is there, defensively while he is rail thin, he had no problems staying in front of his man. If he is able to have a consistent outside shot, i think he can develop into legit wing player. Hopefully they'll give calanasan big minutes this season so that sharma can slide down to atleast the 4 spot.

Yeah, he really needs to slide down to 4. I hope he will get taller but I already doubt it. He is 6'6 already in 2022 when he was 15 years old, he is 17 now, going 18 in April so that sums up his growth spurt is already done. I just hope he would be able to play 3/4 atleast. He is quick enough anyway.

I think the LSGH is known to utilize their big anyway (Seven, Pablo) so there will be a chance Owen might have minutes.

It will still depend on how ready owen is along with his conditioning. My best case scenario is he gets 20 mins max off the bench. Kudos to him tho, he looks in shape and was decent in their tuneup against the green archers.

If you're a big under 203cm (6'8") and you don't have the length, strength, and motor, to play as an undersized center, you have to be able to play 4 as your primary position if we're talking Gilas. Better if you'll end up a tweener.

Looks like a logistics issue of some sort. Seems like theres a lack of venue available. Prolly the reason why the vball tournament this year(1st round anyway) will be played in various school gyms.

They have all the time in the world, but they still end up with this issue. Yikes. It's like the Cuneta Astrodome issue but worse. Hahaha.

Idk man, but my guess is that this one is on GMA.

Juniors play will start on February 24th with venues at the FilOil arena and EAC gym.

I didn't realize we got a game today. Finally. Didn't they use to hold this alongside the seniors basketball before?

Still can't believe how he was not included in that U18 tourna. Coulda beat Jordan and would have a chance for U19 slot.

Hopefully with la tenorio and smc around now, they'll pick the best and tallest for the lineup.

Is the 6'10 player from LSGH (Owen C) injured? Parang he did not play in today's opener?

So Elijah Yusi still in high school I see, I remember him as reserve on that U16 2022.

Yup, just transferred to Arellano from the bullpups program. Forfot about him but his a7nother guy to look forward to this season.

The Red Cubs almost lost in their first game against EAC. Vailoces and Batongbakal struggled but scored when needed the most. Ugaddan and Doliente carried the team to Victory. So weird not hearing SBU band play, guess the death of Sir Rubio is the downfall of the SBU band.
