Which players are they dislodging from Team A? Aside from Joaqui and Aaron.

The mapuans here said that fornis and pabilona are already gone, and from what i saw from them this year, they could demote reyno, pantaleon, agemenyi and abdullah. Rest of the guys have been part of the regular rotation. Add graduating guys fermin and garcia, thats 8 free spots already

also don't count out an underclassmen from leaving early. nevertheless, those coming in should more than make up for the looming exits.

Actually didnt even include escamis here, and im in one of those who believes he's gonna turn pro early. So that makes it 9 spots.

Tho imo they have the best incoming class since it has good balance. All positions were addressed accordingly. Gonzales for your guards, Nitura, manlapaz and lazarte for your wings and delos reyes and gulapa as your bigs, thats already a solid rotation in itself, add to that cuenco, recto, hubilla, mangubat, and concepcion and thats a deep lineup already, might be the deepest in season 101.

Sometimes too much depth os bad, just ask.san beda this year.. although we can say lack of big to negate allen liwag

I think this is the line up next season

C: Igliane, Gulapa, Delos Reyes
PF: Hubilla, Jabonete, Eligado, Ryan
SF: Recto, Nitura, Concepcion, Manlapaz
SG: Cuenco, Lazarte, Macaranas, Valentin
PG: Gonzales, Bancale, Mangubat

They’re really going for back to back!

When Gonzales was with you, how did he play? In UP, he was mostly a defensive guy.

He’s an offensive point guard. In UP, there are plenty of scorers thats why his focus is on defense. He will showcase his real game in mapua just like before he went to UP.

In season 95, gonzales rookie season at mapua, he was used off the bench to defend bigger wings like balanza, caralipio...though a bit small at around 5'11, he did not played point guard, but a shooting guard slasher type of player, who gambles a lot in disrupting opponents passing lane...a good fit in coach randys system

They tried replacing Jacob with a bunch of fillers plus Nygel got injured/ took a step back. Wish we could trade Tagle/Royo for 1 more year of Cortez

Had the same projection for your team in season 101, except i had pantaleon over valentin. Tho for me they could use another steady guard, just for insurance if something happens to either bancale and or mangubat. I think gonzales can play point, but he'll be so much effective in the same role as clint was last yesr which was the 'points' guard role. He usually had a secondary playmaker (usually mangubat) with him to take some of the load and responsibility off himself.

6'3 Fil-Nigerian guard Mark Anagbogu transfers from Centro Escolar University to MAPUA Cardinals.

Ayala is strengthening its position and influence in the education sector.

By owning more shares, Ayala gains a bigger role in decisions about iPeople, which operates well-known schools like Mapua University

Cardinals S100 realizations:

1. Grit, Hardwork and Heart beats Talent!
No one predicted that Mapua will become champions this season; into the Final 4 and Final, almost all analysts favored CSB to win it because of their “talented” and “deep” roster with Coach Charles and Serbian Great, former Gilas Coach, Rajko. Yet, the Finals was a dominated by the Cardinals. Indeed, hard work beats talent.

2. Coaching staff
More than the players, having a coaching that will make the players believe and buy-in to the system will take you to places.

3. King Cardinal
enough said, Clint Escamis is the real deal!!!

4. Mapua Global Support, Inc. and One United Mapua, Inc.
A strong community is a big difference.
Lets not forget that Mapuans are Engineers, Architects, Scientists, Contractors and a bunch of DOE, DOTR, DPWH, DOTC secretaries/Asec, USec, etc.; Mapua doesnt have RSA, MVP, but the cardinals have hundreds of small MVPs & RSAs.

5. Intramuros friendly neighbor
Letran pirated Rosillo, so that Lawrence Mangubat will be the starting PG and have more minutes. Cardinals win the championship
thank you for the pit stop - Chris Hubilla, Drex Delos Reyes

6. winning program
The Cardinals now understands when you have a winning program (like San Beda and Letran), talents will always look for you. Cardinals Team B (residency players) can be already a Team A for other schools.

7. Mapua 100 for Season 100
This S100 championship is destined for the Cardinals as Mapua will celebrate its school founding anniversary this January 25, 2025.
