NCAA Season 100

Anyways congrats to mapua, gotta say that the cardinals went with a mission this year and they have accomplished it. They just wanted it more and was deserving of the championship. If im being honest tho, genuinely glad to see escamis win a ring, especially after everyone shit on him in the 1st round. Truly the top dog this season.

For the blazers hope they bounce back better and use this as motivation for next season, i mean they should look at what mapua did after losing last year. For the graduating seniors Mark Sangco and Paul turco, good luck to their future endeavors.

You guys have some good additions next season. Is it time for Coach Charles to go? He's nice but he's been coming up short even though you have a good roster.

Congratulations Cardinals. You really deserve that championship

Personally im 50/50 wether charles tiu returns or not, tho i wouldnt mind a new face as well, as long as he's competent for the job. Yes on paper team still looks solid next year but imo theyll still need liwag to take em to the next level

if somehow SGA takes over UE, maybe there's a chance that they put charles over there. coach gab for csb?

Dollente, medroso should stay for the seniors.

From what I've heard, only Vailoces has a sure spot on Team A. The rest will have to earn their place. But yeah, you’re right, Dollente and Medroso will also be huge if they commit to the Red Lions.

Dollente, medroso should stay for the seniors.

Dollente is a one-way player. Not that good on the defensive side of the floor. A great 3-point shooter. He reminds me of former Red Cub/Lion JR Tecson. Randale Medroso is a jump shooting big man like Yukien Andrada. He needs to improve his physicality on defense. The more reliable, defensive big on the Red Cubs team is Vince Mondigo.

I think charles tiu will be with converge full time if he leaves benilde. Maybe its coach gabby that will handle ue if they take over their program, he does have uaap experience with ateneo and feu. For benilde i think its lead deputy pau layug, or maybe even ty tang. I like coach pau since he's purely a stats guy, makes him no non sense in his approach. Not to mention he has experience handling the team as early as last year's offseason when he handled the benidle team that reached far in psl and pinoyliga in charles tiu's absence. He's also currently handling team b, winning the next5hoops title recently and currently undefeated in bbi sulit. So out of all the coaches, i feel like he's the most knowledgeable when it comes to all the players.

mapua will have a solid recruitment class for next year. problem is joaqui and aaron are the only graduating players and escamis probably turning pro. who are the shoo ins for the recruits next year? agamenyi and abdullah are probably goners tho.

props to igliane.. pretty solid game 2.. from defending liwag to setting picks to free up escamis and cuenco, rebounding, and settling down the offense from time to time..

No way any of the csb transferees leave after this season. Too big of an unfinished business for them, especially for guys like liwag and ynot. So even if ynot stated earlier that he'll prolly turn pro, now that he lost, he'll more than like stay on to atleast win one for his collegiate career.

Anyways another year, another disappointment. Season 98 was so close, season 99 with all the returning core was a big let down and with the season 100 lineup which was probably the best benilde team ever assembled, to again just get swept. Hayy one can only hope they would also end the drought next year. Imo this years team had every chance to win it all, heck they could have even swept the season if they really put in the work, but alas it was really mapua's year and kudos to them for winning it all. They did their homework against us and ive got nothing but praise and respect to that team. No excuses, csb flat out choked again with turnovers being the big culprit. It was really dumbounding to see how awful they were in taking care of the ball considering they have 4-5 quality guards that can handle the ball. The turnovernitis they had in season 99 was understandable given the lack of guard depth last year, but this supposed was supposed to be them improving. Imo for a team that supposedly have all the chemistry in thr world, they looked flat in the finals. Looked like they didnt wanna win. Anyways fortunately for them, they only have 2 graduating seniors, and i expect most of the core to come back next year so this is my way too early lineup for season 101 as it stands:

Ancheta
Ynot (graduating)
Jarque
Sanchez
Liwag

Cometa (graduating)
Torres
Celis*
Eusebio
Serrano

Cajucom
Carillo
Ondoa
Gaspay*
Umali*

Jucom*
Moore*
Gonzaga*

Demoted to team b
Galas
Arciaga
Morales

Team b hopefuls:
Victoria
Daja
Jalalon
Vanguardia
Baliquig

Departures: Sangco, Turco, Oli(still has 1 year left, but his spot easily be replaced by guys from team b)

Gotta knock off the extra curicular stuff tho. Too dirty even for the ncaa imo. I like jabonete more, undersized but a good energy guy, physical when needed and has that outside shot from time to time.

Hope jarque improves in the offseason, feels like he got overshadowed by all the new guys this year but his blend of size and skill is still pretty intriguing. Same with ondoa, he needs to have that outside shot if he wants a longer career. Im also expecting bigger things for torres and eusebio for year 2 now that they've had an ncaa season under their belt.

Anyways wth happened to morales? He really regressed as the season went on. He should go back to team b for more seasoning.

igliane made 2 trifectas in this game also.. the midrange plays of Mapua are run thru him.. this is what hurt CSB most.. Escamis and Cuenco making those midrange jumpers..

i am wondering why Tiu didnt adjust to this...

The thing with jarque is his injuries and confidence. Seems like whenever he gets in the grove, he gets hurt knocking of his confidemce. Pretty unfortunate for someone being compared to abando earlier in.his career. Still kinda young tho, still has 3 more years to show he belongs. As for ondoa, he has that shot, just afraid to take it in-game, expecting the coaching staff to experiment with him in the offseason. For torres and eusebio, felt like but were shellshocked with the physicality of ncaa.

Morales i dont know what happened with the kid, but i dont think he deserves a spot next year with the way he played, as for arciaga and galas, both are casualties of the numbers game but iwouldnt mind them making the lineup if some other guy leave or get hurt.

Perhaps, Clint Escamis could sign with the KBL club in the near future and make his debut.
⚠️ Note : The KBL club that contacted him has not been disclosed.

There are ten teams and 8 with pinoy imports right? So either KQ or JD wont go to the KBL if Clint is signed. That or someone getting fired.

Read somewhere that calvin epistola(not sure if i got the name right) will get the boot from his kbl team so that should give all 3 including escamis teams to sign

At this point. Having the more loaded roster and losing the finals being swept. I’d demote charles tiu. The players just didn’t respond to him
