Who are the graduating players this season that could crack the PBA or even play as an import abroad?

Imo the pba ready ones are king gurtiza, harvey pagsanjan and mark sangco, while guys like christian pagaran, kobe monje and paul turco will aprolly get a look from teams with specific needs. Clint escamis and maybe paeng are also pro ready tho still have atleast a year of eligibility left.

For the 4th consecutive season, GMA7 and NCAA with another headscratching NCAA Finals schedule. 1 week interval from Game 1 to Game 2 and another 1 week for Game 3 if necessary. Imagine a 3 game finals series in the ncaa will run for almost a month.

Most prolly to milk the ratings and venue attendance. Not really a fan but i get it. On the bright side, if someone suffers a minor injury, itll prolly give em time to come back in the series.

Absolutely stupid imho

because they will show the finals in GMA and that is the only available time slot.

Is Titing Manallili still injured? Lol Marvin Hayes just made his video private

I saw him playing for letran's team b but that was last month ago.

So he really is playing again. Snow posted that he was playing in ligang labas. Not really sure that's a smart move considering he missed the season supposedly from an injury that requires surgery or should be catching up with his studies depending and which rumors you believe in. They could have used him this season

Dont think he was ever injured. I mean lina's and bravo's injury was way worse and they still managed to return during the season. He was just not eligible for letran and they couldnt afford to tell it. Im wondering if allen ricardo will be retained next season. Wouldnt be a smart move if they sent him packing since some his squire boys might follow him out.

thank god mapua went after coach randy instead of coach jack. I remember some alumni are pushing for coach jack santiago after coach atoy's departure particularly alvin patrimonio.

Was never a fan even with all the hype in the 1st round. I dunno why ue is still being patient with him. If they really want sga to take over the program, they better give him the boot. Tho infairness to him, i think his coaching style fits better in the ncaa.

Coach jack doesn't have the pieces at UE. This 5th place finish for them is already an over achievement, considering his best player Remogat left them for other school. In fact i was expecting them to be at bottom 2 with ateneo this season.

The common with coach Jack (UE) and coach Allen (Letran), they have horrible 2nd round and did not made significant adjustments. The difference however is that coach Jack won numerous titles as asst of coach Franz and in College scene for a long time. No excuses for him.

The stark difference is coach Randy has the best scoring point guard in college basketball for the last two years in Clint Escamis PERIOD.

Jack santiago had the arguably the best fsa in uaap and loads of fil foreign talent, who in the right system would have done wonders. Did they over achieve? Sure but mostly because the system they have there in ue limits what they could have accomplished. Those wins they have in the 1st round, most of em were lucky wins. Unfortunately for them, just like letran, their luck ran out in the 2nd round, and you can say that other teams have caught on to what they were doing. Any other coach that can adjust on the fly, this ue team is a legit final 4 team.

Tbh id easily rather have Tounkara or Konateh. Precious, for me, is a good stats, bad team kind of guy. He doesn't play winning basketball. He stat chases and forces up a lot of shots that are not in his arsenal. Case in point, he's a big he shot less than 40% FGs and below 50% FTs. Honestly, seems to me UE's offense looked much better without Momowei.

Personally if i need an fsa that could accomplish their given role to the fullest, id choose those 2 as well, maybe even adamson's ojarike but ue needed a go to guy thay can anchor the offense and thats momowei. Id put the low shooting percentages on the reason that opposing defenses zeroing on him on the post. Similar to liwag early this season, no matter how big or good you are at the post, when defenses double or triple team you, you'll always be worse off. As for the shot selection, he seems to have the green light to take those shots naman. I guess its on his playmakers to find him on great shot attempts and make his life easier in the post and on the coaching staff to actually call plays for him. On the few games ive watched of UE, they've done a god awful job on maximizing what he brings on the table and thats on the coaches. As ive said give him someone like ancheta or forthsky as his point guard, and charles tiu or norman black as his coach, he should have no problem winning mvp and leading ue to the final 4.
