Statistical points (SP) are computed as follows:
- 1 SP for every point scored, rebound assist, steal and shot blocked.
- 10 bonus points for every game won where the player played within elimination rounds.
- Deduction of 1 SP for every turnover, 5 SP for every technical or flagrant foul without ejection, and 15 SP for any technical or flagrant foul that results in an ejection.
if ejected, automatic no individual awards.. so yung -15SP doesnt really matter???

Umali does look wider lol. I think they just took advantage the lack of post presence of san beda. With only two graduating guys and prolly only ynot moving on, itll really be a fight for spots for benilde next year

Those guys, raffy celis, jake gaspay, matt jucom. Maybe nathan victoria and james nacua as well. Wont be surpised if some of the rookies this year like carillo and galas will be relegated muna to team b next year.

Yeah, well, back then SBU was the only team that could attract blue-chip recruits in the NCAA. It's different now. Other schools have already caught up in terms of funding, scouting, and recruiting players.

If you look at Team Behold right now more than half will most likely never make SBU Team A like Teruel, Lecciones, Mina, Roldan, Peregrina, Dayrit and Harry (guard from LSGH). The borderline elevation are Jamora, Alloso, Hawkins, Gentles and Dimaculangan.
The obvious elevations are only Reyes, Etulle, Lopez and Miller.

I agree. Assists, steals maybe blocks should weigh a lil bit heavier since its way harder to do.

Even nba fantasy figured this out. "Stocks" = steals + blocks are highly valued.
And this is purely wishful thinking...if they really want to be objective and use only stats as basis...there are many more advanced stats that they can also include. Assist-TO-ratio, +/-, effective true fg%, etc. Plain stats like total assists can be misleading if a guy commits many TOs. Same with a guy who scores a lot but with low %.
Steals and blocks are a bit more pure because if a player isn't efficient in getting those stats, he will get into foul trouble and won't play as much.
