James will arrive on the 28th. If he's only 50% sure he wants to play with SBU, I think he should leave.

Ian Torres and Roger Ondoa has greatly improve since the filbasket dasma championships, taking advantage of Ynot and Sanchez's absence in leading the team thus far. CSB Defeated the filfors and fsa laden ust team in pinoyliga. Forthsky looking like himself excpet for the foul trouble. Ust should win more than 2 games next season. Tho i have a feeling SJ Moore will not last long with UST, don't think he fits well with what the team needs and the style of play of the UAAP. Won't be surprised if he comes back to ncaa especially with the filfors coming in next season.

richard del rosario named assistant coach at perpetual.

Good hire being a former HC in the ncaa himself, with us in csb. Olsen will need all the help he can get. Good thing they retained jrs coach joph cleopas as well.

so who's gonna take the last slot for f4 next season? beda, csb, mapua and?

EAC or LPU

wow EAC? wild take. considering they lost Magullano, Cosejo and Robin. Pagsanjan and Manlapaz its just like a regular guards. i don't see any special from them. they will miss the toughness of Magullano and cosejo. their 6'8" (forgot the name) is still raw and already a veteran..

EAC for sure. I think LPU has already reached their ceiling as a team, sure most of the core is still there but i think they'll have a trouble looking for a replacement for enoch. Most of the teams they faced is already familiar with how they'll play. Perps should be the darkhorse, i have feeling they have surprise linedup or two, just need to find who'll replace razon's leadership. JRU will be losing sy and dionisio besides the graduating JL and Ry. As for mapua, has paolo hernandez made his decision? Lets hope the runner's up curse won't hit em hard. For me beda and csb have the advantage of lining up new players who aren't exactly rookies(and much more better caliber than those who left) so i'd like to believe they'll be the top 2 teams entering season 100.

Nope not a wild take. Jerson Cabiltes turned hose 3 guys to the players they are today. He did it with much less. Imagine having two ex uaap guys who were already contributors to their old teams, plus doromal(16ppg) and a couple of ex arellano players. Gurtiza and Ochavo will still be there so they'll be fine. Not to mention, eac was one of the best coached teams in the league last season, even better than lpu and mapua i believe. There's a reason they finshed 6th last year(big improvement) even after losing their star bigman allen liwag.

Saw SSC-R forward Jacob Shanoda’s name on EAC’s PinoyLiga lineup. Apparently he has transferred.

Aside from the 3 teams mentioned, almost all of the teams are evenly matched. I'm picking EAC because they are well coached.

Razon is no longer with the Perps? Parang CSB moves better without Ynot and Sanchez.

Razon has already exhausted his playing years. Ferreras or barcuma will prolly take up his spot in starting lineup. Ynot moves well within the system, he's a more sure shot than torres, while torres will usually make the extra pass. Still believe their minutes should be staggered in favor of traditional PG like cajucom or ancheta to play alongside them. For sanchez naman, he still makes a lot of ill advised jumpers, good for him csb can play him at his preferred 3 spot with lots bodies in the frontline willing to do the dirty work whenever he misses, still hope he matures with his shot selection and decision making.

fair point. but for me i think its perpetual i feel this year its Nitura and Roque's time its also fit the billing to coach olsen system and they have several players are good in their juniors program. what i like about coach cabiltes he's developing well his players during off season and i hope Erlan Umpad develop his game this off season and he's 6'8" afterall. sayang..

what about lpu and letran?

Letran will still be bad, but prollt not 2-16 bad. Even if the delta news does happen, the soonnest their transferees can play is season 101. While none of their incoming recruits are special, most of the good ones play the same position. LPU will be good but looks like they already reached their ceiling with this group of guys.

Enoch Valdez played terrific in his debut conference in the PBA. How the hell did the Knights missed out in recruiting their own homegrown Squires? Valdez should have been the bridge when Abando and Caralipio left.

To be fair Enoch is a late bloomer.
