For a moment there, i thought liwag will do his old team and school a favor. Good win for LPU and Coach Gilbert. Reallu deserving for that last final 4 spot.
Gotta feel for King Gurtiza and eac, makes their last game against jru non bearing. Being eliminated without the chance to fight for it. Thats rough.
Ncaa should have swtiched up the sched and have eac battle jru first in the 12pm timeslot. Marketing wise, more people couldve watched the csb v lpu game with eac peeps prolly tuning in as well.

For ties at the 1st and 3rd seed, quotient system. Playoff only occurs if tied for the 2nd or 4th seed.

Csb has the better quotient, +10 or 11 if im not mistaken but now that they lost, mapua is now solo 1sr.

There was also a foul on the other side. The Ancheta turnover which led to a Cunanan lay up. Cunanan’s arm was slapped by Ynot. It was clear on the replay but was not called.
Liwag had the opportunity to tie with his and-1. But he missed his bonus FT. Liwag again had another opportunity this time to win the game but his alley up shot was short.
Missed calls are part of the game. If there’s much time left you have every opportunity to rebound from those blown calls.

He surely is haha. Pero if you look at it refs also missed that foul on ynot when villegas stole and drove to the basket couple of possesions back. Pero i think the post is for the overall game haha.
Tho yeah gotta commend the boys for still fighting through it. If im gonna compare this to gozum's batch, might been a worse loss if they were the one playing atleast liwag and company were able to keep their composure.

Yes, i agree as well. Csb had their chances, just wasnt able to execute. The moment villegas stole the ball away, that was it. Csb couldve gotten the lead, instead they had to settle for the liwag score with the hopes for a tie. Imo they just need to play through it which they did naman.
