Red Lions better prepare for their second round game or else they’ll be in deep sh*t. For EAC it’s always gonna be a revenge game for them because of the pinoyliga brawl game in the preseason.

Interesting to see how san beda will adjust to eac. While the generals has been up and down this year, no doubt jerson is doing good job with his gameplans. After the san beda game, eac has jru, au and that vital lpu game. Even if they lose against beda, if they win all their remaining games, they should be in for that last spot.
Imo, one more defeat for either lpu, perps and letran will have them out in the running.

Both are obviously talented, just a matter of them having the right mindset going in an uber tough ncaa. If they are able to make the adjustment, they should have no trouble thriving with the team. Another question is how well will they mesh with returning guys next season. This year Are was able to do what he did due to him having all the touches he wants, next year with more scorers coming in, how will he make the adjustment that would also get those guys touches. He cant be season 99 kurt reyson 2.0 fot baste next season. Imo if Are successfully makes himself as a legitimate playmaker, he could go high in the following pba draft being a total package.

Eac with the blueprint on how to beat them. Force estrada and cuajao out on offense and let the other guys score.
As good as coach ricardo has been advertise since winning in jrs program, i still see him as ordinary/average for now compared to the likes of coaches tiu,yuri,jerson...he was not able to adjust when eac zoned them and clamped down on jimboy and cuajao...then in reversal to their jru game, where jru let jimboy beat them and clamped down on his supporting cast, coach ricardo has no plan b...given in both games jru and eac, letran has interior size advantage that they didnt capitalize...but i hope he coach ricardo still handles the knights next year at the full start of delta era for him to adjust and learn more from his rivals.

I agree he hasnt done a good job of making game time adjustments. And i dont think he has the right personnel currently for his system to work. Just like what DlsuGleagueAffiliate said. Seems like the lack of a really good facilitator in titing which can also create on his own is really hurting them. Most of the guys right now are also not quick enough to run in transition which the squires where known for. Not enough shooters as well (monje has been a disappointment and cuajao is more cold than hot all season long) Defensively they've also been lacking. To's and getting outrebounded every game also doesnt help.

Yeah. He could really improve his game next season since the offensive load on him wouldn’t be that heavy since there are a lot of other offensive options available next season. He could improve the other facets of his game besides his offense. And he could have better offer in the pros if he brings Baste back in the final 4.
I really hope as well for Baste to get additional 2 reliable centers. It’s good that we now have Dimaunahan. I think he’s the tallest among all the current centers of Baste even the ones that we have on team A. Dimaunahan’s frame is not that great but he’s bulkier than Velasco. If Baste manages to get at least two reliable 6’6 and up centers, we’ll solve our problem in the big man rotation and Velasco and Ricio could play 4. I really think that they would play better as 4 with the length and body frame that they have.

The moment manalili was deemed ineligible i know this team was in trouble. That allen ricardo offense revolved around him and with him out, so did the system. If you watched their games they do anything special. Just handoffs to estrada. You wont win a lot with that kind of play, asking to much on one guy. This letran team doesnt really look like the squires team he handled. Its been far off.

For sure, but ill attribute that to the bench, perpetual made that big run after liwag and company sat in the 3rd qtr.
Next game against mapua will he big. Mapua needs to win by more than 7 if they want to nab that number 1 spot.

If sga will still sponsor the squires i think ricado will come back. One thing is for sure, if letran fails to qualify for the final 4, he's good as gone. Letran doesnt have the patience for that. They want win now coaches.
