NCAA Season 100

CSB bench guys Oli and Jarque scoring 6 triples between them. A much needed boost with Ynot’s injury. SSCR’ keeping the game close on a few occasions but seemed cannot tie the game.

Ondoa giving quality minutes as well. Torres and Cajucom backourt duo did a good job stabilizing the perimeter defense limiting baste's outside shots

Sanchez back to his old self again. Forcing a lot of things on offense. By my account he's -8 already in +/-

Are is a fighter, not sure if hes Gilas quality but he will have a nice pro career.

He's well built for his size, and just like what jerry codinera described him, he's like a running back out there. He'll fit in right well with the Ginebra's of the pba

Such a shame baste has no bigs if shanoda and una decided to stay, they might have legit chance for the final 4. The heart of this team is immense.

At this point i feel like SSC should try their best to retain him, no way he keeps performing like this and no UAAP team is paying attention.

Charles probably shouldn't be thrilled with Benilde's guards at the end, thoroughly outclassed by Are

Thats depending on his age, he's already in his 3rd year. But yeah they have a good shot next year with their recruits already spemding residency. Only problem is i dont think they have bigs in that batch.

Oh, i can easily see him riding it out next year then maybe going to Korea (sorry Dave I think you dont have a spot there anymore)

So letran's gonna appeal Jimboy's suspension in their next game. Lets see if they're able to get their way again.

Apparently they're contesting the unspo he got on the same sequence that javillonar got hurt, and mgc was able to get a landing spot foul on him.

They should at least try to appeal, if only to allow Jimboy to win rookie of the year.

Ive watched the replay, the refs has a case. While mgc was running the break, attempting to pass while airborne. Jimboy seemed like he was anticipating it and used his hips and right leg to block mgc's landing spot. It could have been disastrous for mgc had he landed worse. Imo this is them wanting their best player out there in the next game especially they've lost 2 games in a row. If im not mistaken baste pa is their next game

Sangco got away there with the unspo, couldve easily been a dq foul. Even if Are is short, you dont raise your elbow like that when warding off. Had it been off the ball, things may have been different. I think Are needs to wear a mouthguard now ala chef curry. Especially if he keeps on guarding guys taller than him.

That jimboy is a dirty player. Didnt he also kneed a baste player in their last game? If im not mistaken he's done similar antics when he was with binans mpbl team.

Anyways things not looking good for letran. Perpetual, Eac and Lpu are all hot off their tracks.

Letran’s next game is against Mapua on the 18th fFriday. Mapua will have an earlier game on Tuesday versus EAC.

Easy pickings for Mapua on the Jimboy-less Knights.

Thatll make thing worse for them. Javillonar's injury may also affect them. Especially if that ankle swells up bad.

A tough week for the Red Lions as they play 3 games in 5 days; 15th vs Lyceum, 18th vs Altas and 20th vs Mapua. This is going to be a test of durability for them.

College players playing in the MPBL definitely helps in their development. One of the downsides though is, that league allows so much dirty plays that the players who play there adapt that play style. Playing dirty becomes muscle memory.

Sir Mets,

personally I ain't that touchy as far as physicality are concern.

we've been discussing this issue here in IBN about "the line between physicality vs dirty plays" since the time of adam

and we all agree that theirs no place on earth on players who had the intention to break someone's limbs and face along the way

obviously, what happened to Barney in the on-going MPBL games is very uncalled for

I seldom watch that league to be honest and I had a chance to sneak some minutes during one of my weekend couch time

all I can say that the poor dude being the tallest guy out there was literally absorbed all those hard cheap shots along the way

and I think he's wearing a face mask for the remaining games of the seasons because he broke something on his face

as for those NCAA guys who literally embrace the so-called "Pinoy basketball" because it's part of the "Attitude Era" in the barangay level.

I also experience and received some of those when I'm still actively playing in the dirty fields just for the mere "Ice Tubig" games under the scorching heat of the sun

"Kung ayaw mo masaktan wag kang mag basketbol, mag chess ka na lang". that's the battle cry of Pinoy basketball culture.

goodluck to those several NCAA players, MPBL, Beau Belga, John Amores and Jericho Cruz you guys are the epitome of those stuff.

I can't relate to the Bruise brothers, Big Boy R., Big J, Rudy D, Tembong, Onchie among others, I haven't seen those legends played.

oh dear!!

that is why.
