Mapua gonna escape with the win there. Boy are they lucky the jru players are kabado as hell. Lots of mental errors for them.

I think thats on the coaching staff on how they'll manage his minutes. For this game, they had yam concepcion to thank for his breakout game. If he didnt step up today, big chance they might have lost. Anyways is recto still not cleared? He seemed to be healthy to be in the bench.

And louie gonzales out there still looking like he'll punch someone in the face hahaha. Given some of the calls are crappy, still cant blame em for that panapanaan turnover. They had lots of chances to take over the game. They wasted it all.
 
I think Mapua has to move on from Randy Alcantara. His style has reached its peak and has not really found ways to improve.
 
Mapua might not win convincingly and some sorts struggling but if they reach the final 4, it’s anybody’s ball game. They can beat anybody, even csb and beda. When recto goes back, it will be a different ball game again for them. Still, long way to go but if they capture one of the top 2 seed, they might surprise the rest of the league.
 
The second round is getting rougher with two disqualifying fouls yesterday. Hernal of AU and Jabonete of MU. Hernal apparently was hot on SBU’s Songcuya as his first flagrant foul was a forearm at the back of Songcuya’s head. The second flagrant foul he committed was a closed fist that hit Songcuya’s face.

Jabonete’s disqualifying foul was an elbow thrown to a JRU player.
 
any news on the ref mauling incident? 1st round already ended..

in the UAAP, things are settled in 48hrs..

They're getting exposed. They're a mediocre team that doesnt do anything special. They're not a good rebounding team, defense has been sus and offensively their execution has been subpar. Effort wise, they're getting outworked.
 
Letran about to go 0-2 in the second round. Perpetual playing superb ball today vs Letran.
 
Letran’s Estrada about to be thrown out with a unsportsmanlike foul earlier plus a technical foul. I think that merits a one-game suspension and will most likely be disqualified from any individual award.

Next game against ssc pa haha one of the teams they lost to in the 1st rd. If this letran team cant even beat teams like lpu and perpetual, what more pa against real contenders like san beda, mapua and csb.
 
Weird game between benilde and baste. Despite the taller team benilde leading with perimeter pts while baste without a true bug getting theirs mostly in the paint
