Looking like CSB, Mapua, SBU and this time Letran for the Final 4 with Altas outaide looking in.

Esca-miss

Those Iso shots are not it smh

I expected that. Being the mvp, as a coach you want the ball with your best player as much as possible. Just poor shooting today. Mapua will live and die with escamis no doubt.

Escamis and Sajonia are like double edge sword in the 4th quarter. Good thing Coach Yuri did not entrust the ball with him in the last minute of the ball game.

Unpopular opinion: San Beda owes a lot of this game to Penny Estacio, he may not produce a lot but the intagibles he brings in the court is what helps his team

i think I saw someone snuck a punch/fist to jommel puno's face during the last scramble...

offense wise, he follows the plays designed well.. defensively, needs to strengthen up..

This was Igliane's costly unsportsmanlike foul, no?

Yes, even had that closed fist in his other hand. Mapua has him there for that role, the Goon of the team. Against benilde he also snuck in a couple of hits to liwag as well.

Despite not scoring well, Puno's been good at using his gravity to create open shots for others, a.

Impressed with how he maintains his cool despite getting roughed up. Barely reacts to anything.

Payosing played well today, hopefully he stays consistent. MOA arena is his playground lol

I dunno about this mapua team, im a fan. But damn their players need to cut out those extracurriculars. You dont give away an unspo like that when you're trying to come back from a game. Even those tongue out stuff come on. Even ynot and liwag wont do that of crap in a close game. Get a big lead or win the game first or else yall end up looking like a fool.

Payosing plays well against Mapua apparently.

Mapua can't win jack with Clint jacking up three's like an NBA guard. He's like a weaker version of KC Dela Pena

Kudos to Penny Estacio for stepping up defensively. His rise started with Letran’s Nath Montecillo and followed it up against Perpetual’s Orgo. Today he did a solid job on both sides.

The trash talk between Sajonia and Hubilla was fun to watch. Sajonia got the last laugh scoring against Hubilla and on the ensuing Mapua’s last play stopped the latter from scoring in the post.

There was also an arm slapping incident between Puno and Hubilla on two occasions.

I think Cuenco got irritated in the first half when Payosing rammed him intentionally in a rebounding position.
