Well they could afford these NBA players so i dont see a problem when it comes to the value of Coach BG. Wonder how much they are paying these players for a short tournament

They have no problems getting those players as they believe it to be a good investment for that tourney, im hearing for d12, something similar to what nba vets get for a 10 day contract, the rest will get a bit lower. As for the coaches, BG is expensive for them since they already have rajko employed. Remember before him, they had zoran martic who was a champion coach himself in the same capacity. They could have kept both but once rajko was available, they didnt extend the slovenian anymore.

This is big news. Everyone knows Payosing is with Brodett’s Phenom.

But I think SBU is well prepared with Puno and incoming Richi Calimag manning the SF spot.

They targeted roommates Payosing and Cortez.
 
Among the so called blue chippers of Phenom, it seems that only Payosing and Dungo will live up to their potential.

Not really a fan of Payosing and his Baldog basketball. Hope he stays though, his energy and hustle is a big boost for the team.

San Beda Basketball needs to upgrade and let CYE handle the Lions, Cubs, and even the youth club.

This may help SBU’s program and develop talents within San Beda. This can also avoid other schools poaching their best players since at a very young age, players have built their careers within San Beda. The problem is if this continues to happen, San Beda will look like the UAAP Team B.

or moving to the UAAP is another choice.

That’s why they axed, relieved and replaced the Red Cubs coaching staff last 2022. It is now Red Lions friendly.
 
Man San Beda can't catch a break if Payosing is also on the move. Poor Jude.

Cant blame jude on this one. He is also asking for a raise that for me is not fair I rather recruit a filam and use his asking price hehe Remember phenom is the one managing payosing. And we all know the relationship of SBU and phenom. For me if payosings camp wants out so be it.
 
Payosing is the last of the players managed by or with close ties to personalities with a grudge against San Beda.

In fact, Payosing was expected to leave last year together with the group of Ynot, Sanchez and Cometa. I was actually surprised he stayed. He took advantage of the departure of his friends to maximize the sudden playing time available to him and he did good. Only that he expected a substantial raise in allowance after bagging the Finals MVP.
 
If there's one thing the championship did for SBU management is that they were given a fresh mandate. I think this is the first time that the MVP sports foundation and Smart officials came in full force.

The next three years will be very exciting for the program as initiated by our patron.;)
 
I just hope that Jude will also do a genuine and sincere critique of himself since he won't listen to people who actually know his shortcomings and mean well in helping.

Jude has to be the most laid back and passive team manager I have ever encountered, and I am being kind with my characterization.
 
If all of these rumors come to fruition, then I would have nothing but respect to Yuki for his loyalty.

Maybe we can brand La Salle as “Asa sa Beda” jk
 
One thing i admire with the san beda program is no matter who leaves, it will still find a way to go back on top. Just look at this season 99, besides losing 3 of their rotation guys to us in benilde, losing kwekuteye who could have still come back and of course the vet bahio, ya'll still win with those who stuck it through. Now even if jacob and maybe payosing leaves as well, im sure they'll find guys to fill those roles as well. This program is not built on a player or 2, so the next man up in replacing guys should be enough. Not to mention their recruitment in and out of the country is still top tier in the ncaa. I mean nobody in the ncaa finds diamonds in the rough better than the way you do, not to mention the loads of boosters always willing to help out your team.

Beda's S99 championship will benefit CSB too. Expect the trio of Ynot,sanchez and cometa to work 3x harder because they now got something to prove. Good for NCAA.

I'm not blaming him. I feel sorry for him cause he does recruit well & is losing his good players even though a chip was won.

Yes, salute to Yukien. For sure he's also being heavily recruited but he's probably quick to shut it down.
