I hope coach Yuri utilizes the 6’4” Agjanti Miller’s true/natural position which is the guard position. Pushing him up to the wings will create a logjam.

I think I saw him in last year’s US training team photo with Visser and Jacob. He even joined in a scrimmage, a team dinner and a meet up with the Cali Alumni.

It took him and Jimmy a year to consider the San Beda offer. Sayang as it could have been a trifecta for Jude had the other athletic Cali guard joined the team.

I noticed that teams in the NCAA are running lineups with perimeter players at 3-4-5.

Lyceum: Daileg-Montano (who looks to have a combo guard's skillset)-Barba
Perps: Pagaran-Boral-Gelsano (which Jerry Codinera called out)

Interesting, a. I like that coaches still have their perimeter players play like perimeter players here, regardless of size. Hopefully, I can see those lineups with 6'4"-6'6" players, especially in the high school level. Hahahahaha.

I'm hoping Liwag & Sanchez of CSB can be molded into an Oftana type of player.

Could be a politician, could be gambling, could be both. Both are scary for a normal person to deal with.

Either way, its just gonna be toxic whatever league they acclimate themselves with. For example, benilde as a team joined psl over the offseason. They were up against semi pro teams that represented cities or provinces. I would notice thst everytime they face a team who's owner is a politcian, the calls would always go against benilde, especially if said owner is watching live at courtside. Really frustrating to watch to be honest.

I'm hoping Liwag & Sanchez of CSB can be molded into an Oftana type of player.

Hmm for liwag i think the closest he can be is a jamie malonzo type of guy, while Sanchez could be an oftana kind of played, and imo, sanchez already has a higher ceiling than him. He has the skillset already, he's playing in an international kind of system courtesy of rajko, its a matter of mental thing na lang if he can put it all together.

Sanchez is a decent perimeter defender, much better if he's really engaged while liwag hasnt seen a lot of opportunities due to being locked in the post, he's been solid tho on switches, seems to have the footspeed and iq to stay in front of his man.

That’s what you call excitement. Hehe.

One thing lacking in that roster are the Red Cubs. I know Andrada is one. But RC and Penny don’t count since they moved and finished HS some where else.

In the past we usually have 4-6 Red Cubs in our roster during the eras of Koy, Frankie, Ronnie, Jamike and Boyet. Mas marami pa nga Red Cubs sa roster ng CSB. This is the damage brought by the axed RC staff.

I think the mojo of the Red Cubs left in the wake of coach Ato's passing. What happened with the axing of the coaching staff is also part of that process. I'd like to view it as a transition phase just like what happened when the basic education transferred to Rizal.

That douchebag deserved it. He was about to tackle ancheta. You cant say he was going for the ball when ancheta already secured it. And thats what ancheta got mad at. How does 5'8 skin and bones guy defend himself from a bulldozing 6'5 200 crybaby coming his way? Besides he did way way worse against the blazers. He had it coming.

That first qtr was all letran, they were making everything, benilde on the other hand started rusty, once they got their groove on, its scary for letran.
