Agree. Specially on defense. Kallos’ defense is an eye soar. Also, this time with coach Arvin, they handle the ball really well. They don’t commit a lot of turnovers.

I’m expecting for Pascual to be a vital cog in Baste for this season as well but his spot is the same with Escubido and Are. So it’s expected as well for him to have limited minutes. His role is just to give Are and Escubido some breather. He’s also a pass first PG. Actually that’s what I like about him but for this season we need scorers coz we lost a lot of significant players. I wish for Pascual to shoot more. He has the touch actually. And I think he only has until next season (not sure). So he has to show his scoring ability if he wants to play in the professional league.

Surprised as well that coach Arvin didn’t argue that with the refs. It happened in front of him. He’s a very calm coach. A very different one from the usual coaches that’s been handling Baste. Well, the momentum is on the side of Baste during that time. Maybe he chose to focus on the game rather than on that incident.
But the refs reviewed it. It’s very obvious on the replay that it was an intentional knee from Estrada. It’s very obvious as well that the refs are favoring Letran on that game.
