With under 3 minutes left on the clock, rather than managing the possession and working for a high-percentage look for himself or facilitating a quality shot for a teammate, he shoots a 3 pointer. He is making the same mistake that he made last season.

Prolly does but gambled with those shots and lost badly. With those bad shots benilde was able to attack fiercely in transition.

I dunno but yeah late in a close game, that should be where the coaching staff should step in and draw plays. I mean thats when every possesion counts right. I dont think escamis is a game manager to decide on his own.

Missed a chunk of the offseason(around filoil) with a back injury and only rejoined team a by july so he had some catching up to do specially when it comes to chemistry with his teammates.

Yeah haha, imo more negatives compared to positives for now. I prefer eusebio over him. The only thing i like about him is his ball handling and playmaking, which is good for his size.

It’s only the first game. 3mins remaining mapua still leading. Mapua should address who’ll be in the crucial minutes of the game. Recto should step up, he hasn’t even scored. We’re hoping he’ll be reliable coming from a great finals last year. Anyway, there are still plenty of time to recover and regroup. Still, nice opening game
